We all love Target, but there’s nothing like a BRAND new Target!
We eagerly awaited this location to finally open up, and when it did, it took me forever to get out here.
Now that I finally did, it was so awesome and convenient. It’s right in the Danbury Fair, having access both from the outside on its own or right through the inside of the mall. So whether you need to come straight to Target or you stop by as you’re shopping in the mall, it’s a great new addition to the Danbury Fair.
The layout for some reason takes a second to get used to and everything feels a tad bit off but it’s totally fine. They do seem to have a bit more selection of things and the fitting rooms are super chill and easy to access. They do have a random 3 garment max to try on?
Restrooms are HORRENDOUS but that’s truthfully not necessarily fully on the staff but the customers that love to trash places. Either way, if you don’t have to, don’t go lol.
Other than that, great new Target located right next to Primark. From the mall inside entrance it’s right by...
Read moreBad customer experience. I was shopping for back to school supplies with my partner who is a teacher. In the back to school section some bean bag chairs were already pulled out, so we sat down while we assessed what we'd gotten and what we still needed. An employee saw us and shouted from across two aisles "You can't sit there!". I asked "What?" because I've never been talked to by an employee that way before. She yelled again "You can't sit there!" We stood up and she walked up and put the chairs back in the shelves without even looking at us. I understand of it's the policy of the store not to use chairs in the aisles, but there was a way to deliver that message kindly and professionally. My partner and I simply shrugged and left our shopping cart of supplies in the aisle before walking out. Clearly a business that yells at its customers doesn't...
Read moreAbsolutely no customer service. I stood at the 'bullseye station' for over 15 minutes asking fort help. I asked if he could help me-no answer, I asked for something to be unlocked-no answer, I asked why I was being ignored-no answer. Why have this in the store if it is not helpful? Target, treat your customers better! this is not a conversation. Store was also filthy. Spilled my starbucks drink, notified an employee. 10 minutes later my drink is still spilled on the floor. I almost slipped on it. Please, this is basic human decency...Is keeping a clean store asking too much? Is feeling heard and listened to only an idea rather than reality? Is ANY of this even remotely acceptable? Well, apparently target thinks all of this is true. Do not shop here unless you want a...
