After visiting the shop which is nice an set up and with a selection of nice Jewelry, the attendant or owner I am not sure which thought it was appropriate to state that technical work was not valuable in society and that her training as a seamstress from high-school was more valuable.
Now I work in Information Technology, and that put me off from buying anything from the store in the future. I take pride in my work and don't think it is good customer service to say the people potentially buying your products have a pointless vocation.
I hope their Point of Sales System that runs credit cards never goes down for them or else they might need to sew the money into the register.
Watch what you complain about in front of and to customers. I will be telling everyone I know in the VC, and Reno area especially in the tech field and all other non sewing and woodworking vocations to avoid the establishment. Since apparently we are not skilled for the modern age.
I am curious however how a jeweler utilizes Sewing in their business plan over the systems that allow them to make sales in a nearly cashless society.
No need to Reply Turquoise Kiva. For that you have to be skilled in the use of technology and as that is not valued at your establishment I fear that any response would be like trying to patch a cut in a pair of...
Read moreThe store wasn’t warming but I figured the attention was on us because my five year old touches everything. We ended up buying a ring at full price but could hear him bargaining with someone after we left. What upsets me most about my visit was I didn’t have cash and he didn’t tell me that there was a charge for credit. I bought a $175 ring and paid $13.30 more on top of it for using a credit card but didn’t notice until I checked my receipt a few stores away. To add to the insult I paid with a Wells Fargo credit card and not to far away from the store was a Wells Fargo machine. As a business there for years you would assume he knew his surroundings and would have mentioned it. Later I found the same ring selling online by a Native American artist for less. Honestly this was the first store we stopped at and I wish I would have waited at the end to purchase anything. A few stores away I found another business with beautiful jewelry and the employees had a great personality but since I had already spent so much I didn’t anything but they deserved my business more.
This store needs work on there...
Read moreTown overall was very friendly and I was glad to do business with many here, while exploring Northern Nevada.
Except this shop which I'm glad the shop keeper impatience prevented me from wasting my money on this place. There were other professional and friendly shop keepers who deserved it more.
Doesn't seem friendly to people browsing the merchandize. also a completely nonsensical rule of no photos I guess some people don't want free advertising... None of the other shop keepers minded .
Shop keeper rudely replied as I wanted take a picture to show a relative if they'd be interested in a gift:
"hey buddy no photos of merchandize"
well "hey buddy" I don't have to buy...
