Jewelry House — Local services in Dayton

If I could give this place no stars and a middle finger I would! I have never been so rudely profiled in my life! By the little old lady working behind the counter yesterday. As soon as my friend and I walked 5 feet into the store she gave us this look like we were about to rob the place. She said hello while looking us up and down with this disgusted scared look on her face. In return in a friendly voice I said hello back. Then she asked in a very rude voice "can I help you". I said "no thank you we're just looking around". As she was looking us up and down with this Disgusted and scared look on her face. she goes "oh really, well ok". My friend and I felt so unwelcomed that we instantly turn around and left the store. I just have to say my friend and I weren't wearing dirty disgusting clothing, we weren't loud or drunk or acting like idiots. I guess I'll only crime is that we had tattoos and that made us "bad people". Which is a shame, because there is a lot of beautiful jewelry in there. And we were ready to spend money! I will tell everyone I know to NOT visit this store the next time they go to Virginia City. I am very disappointed and embarrassed considering I was a local and grew up...

The most rude and probably prejudice person I've met by far. I wanted to buy my wife a pair of nice earrings and I actually really liked their inventory. She was very rude and scolded me three times even though I was being extremely apologetic for taking pictures to show my wife since she lives a state away. Continued to scold and disrespect not only me, but my group of friends.

If you're also a veteran, then avoid at all costs. She doesn't seem to support veterans either me being a disabled combat veteran. Went to the other jewelry stores and they were happy that I was taking pictures as a support to their business to get their names out there. No wonder there were no people in this store.

The older lady. ( maybe the owner) was extremely extremely rude. We were looking at stuff and my daughter pulled out her phone to see a text message. She comes up to us and does not great us and said are you going to put your phone away? Why she isn’t doing anything she said are you stupid use common sense ? Why ? We aren’t doing anything we are just looking. We walked away and told her to have a good day. Rude no customer service. There was no need for her to be rude to us we had just walked in to look.
