If workers in Dillard’s were more honest & kind to their customers, I’ll be happy to give it higher score. Unfortunately I’ve got 3 times bad experience with the clinic department in Dillard’s. The worker there was charging my credit card without my authorization to order on line, an item that they didn’t have inside the store. When I received it, I was surprised how it arrived without me placing the order. Not only I was questioned the reason why it was sent to me, but also the higher price that it came up to be compared to the actual price in the store. I found out that I was charged:$9.95 shipping & handling for eye cream that I didn’t order ( since it wasn’t in the store) I thought to buy it some where else. But didn’t get the opportunity with the surprised shipping to my address. I brought the receipt to the worker in this cosmetic department and she informed me that I was charged shipping & handling for this item that I didn’t place the order for. She couldn’t do nothing about it at that moment, so I did go the next day to the manager and told her about this incident. No topology for their “ wrong doing” from her end, to say at least, but a simple credit the shipping back to my card, was a cavalier transaction for them, as it was an automatic correction to do, that cover their negligees act as I caught it on time. Before, it was another worker that charged my credit card for an item that I didn’t even order & when I came to the store to show my receipt that I was wrongfully charged, she offered “ to credit me back” without any apology again. Since it happened to me 3 times with different employees there in the cosmetic department, I decided to not shop at Dillard’s innDaytona Beach any more, so I will not have to watch carefully when my credit card is going to be misused and abused again. Just be aware, when you handed your credit card to this store, that it will not be charged “ extra” for item you didn’t want to order or place on line if they don’t have it in store. Make sure to check every receipt very closely, so you’ll not have to dispute the unknown charges later on if you can avoid it. Be extra cautious in this particular store when handing your credit card to those employees that only care about their commission to make & not about being honest and doing the right thing for a customer. If I could give them 0 I’ll do it in a heartbeat since that’s what they actually deserve for their dishonesty, misleading customers with wrong information & not disclosing fully the added charge that they decided to impose without the client knowledge. Read moreI love Dillard's. I was shopping for a friend's birthday present. I was in the men's department, browsing the 1st and 2nd floor. We spent a pretty penny at Christmas, but knew a birthday was coming around and not to buy everything at once. I found everything I was looking for between 1st and second floors. And the price drop was awesomely ridiculous from Christmas clearance compared to the price at Christmas time. I was so happy that I waited for the birthday and didn't jump at Christmas for the items. So I was gathering the items from the second floor to take downstairs and purchase everything all together. I wasn't lugging everything around and I was only swiping my card once. I had dents in my arms from carrying what I did have. I was not at the cologne counters where you have to checkout there. I found what I wanted and rounded it up. Then the lady who is working on the second floor seems like she is chasing me and takes the items from me and tells me that when I am ready I can come and check out. I said "Oh, I was going to pay downstairs there is more stuff I am getting." She told me to get the stuff from downstairs and bring it up to pay. I looked at her, rightfully like she was crazy, and turned around and walked away. I went downstairs and paid for the stuff I wanted located on the first floor. I told the lady on the register what happened with the lady on the second floor because I was disgusted. She even agreed that was not right for the employee to do that. There was no reason for that. What was the difference? Why was it ok for me to bring downstairs items upstairs to pay? But I couldn't bring upstairs items downstairs and pay? I am thinking discrimination. For a store trying to keep open, you shouldn't have an employee who runs off the customers. I certainly wasn't going to go back upstairs after gathering my larger items downstairs to pay at her register. I was only swiping my card once and lugging items for the shortest distance possible. When we see " immigrants" shopping and wearing thousands of dollars of clothes and for their children's toys & clothing while conversing in foreign languages , spending millions to support Dillard's: we left and will wear and make due with what we have had for years. Their " clothes" are so thin, weak, delicate and need special cleaning, they won't last? They also have a problem with : measurements? XL is not XL nor is XXLT & Size 13 shoes & women's sz 8 1/2 wide aren't ! But at $170.00 to $275.00 - " on sale " is what they want?

EVEN- Weber Grills are cheaply make foreign "knock off" & the US ( MADE IN ILLINOIS) HIGH TICKET GRILLS @ $800.00 to overs thousand dollars are out of reach of the ADVERAGE American?
I can only hope tariffs and less " foreign aid " will bring the jobs back home? Maybe I can get a " good ensemble" made by : " NORMA RAE'S KIDS"?
DILLARD'S IS OFF MY LIST AND HOPE THEY CHANGE BEFORE ALL THEIR WORKERS ARE LAID OFF AND THEY GO BANKRUPT TOO.
