Sabrina, thank you for being compassionate, kind, inviting and most of all....THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME FEEL LIKE MY LIFE IS VALUED. Hello Everyone. Everytime I come to this location, my experience is pleasant. They are welcoming, attentive, clean and the food is always phenomenal. I will admit, the reason for this specific review has nothing to do with a dining experience. It's being written because of an interaction & experience I had with a manager while driving them to work with Uber. Today is 10/14/2023. It's a Saturday and I was driving for uber when I received the request to pick up Sabrina. Upon arriving, we greeted eachother while she was getting situated in the vehicle. She told me where she was going and I looked at the time. I noticed it was about 14 minutes before the hour and asked if she needed to get to work by the upcoming hour. She said she did. The map showed me arriving a minute over, but I assured her that I could get her there on time. While leaving the division she lives in, you must pass a stop sign to get on the main road. I'm quite sure I stopped, but nonetheless, I ended up being pulled over with her in the vehicle. (Now to put things into perspective, I am a colored African American male. I say this only so you understand my actions. I am NOT saying that this had anything to do with me being pulled over.) So I pull over, I immediately roll down my window and place both hands above the steering wheel so they are visible, and the officer can see that I'm cooperating and not a threat. The officer comes up, tells me he pulled me over for a rolling stop and asks for my information. At this time he sees Sabrina, who is sitting in the back and asks if this is an uber ride. I tell him yes. He acknowledges this, runs my information and lets me go with a warning. I thank him and pull off. As I pull off, I turn around to apologize to Sabrina for the whole ordeal. I expected her to be upset because she was definitely going to be late for work now. But when I turned around, to my surprise, she was crying. I was extremely apologetic. But she just looked at me and explained. (And I'm putting this into my own words, so please forgive me if I say something differently.) She told me that she knows the relationship between the police and the public is strained. Without saying the word colored, she was able to convey that she understood that people like me have a fear of police, and in certain instances, she can understand why. But when she witnessed me place my hands above the steering wheel, it really hit home and made it more real. She apologized for crying, she apologized for caring, she apologized for the situation as a whole....and I just want to say THANK YOU. Thank you for your kindness, your compassion and your inviting personality. Thank you for treating me like a person and making me feel like my life has value. Thank you leaving me with a core memory of kindness I will never forget. It's people like you that make this world a wonderful place to live in. Your presence in this restaurant is more than enough reason to visit. Genuinely good people are hard to find.
THANKS FOR...

Read more28 April 2019 we just had a really good experience with a problematic meal tonight. We're frequent diners at Outback. This location is particularly good on a consistent basis. Tonight we had a particularly unusual issue with one of our meals, which we mentioned to our server, Norma. We explained the issue to her and she was apologetic and immediately brought it to the attention of the restaurant manager, Bridget (hopefully I spelled that correctly!) Bridget came over right away, was very apologetic and offered to comp my wife's meal 100% and even anything else she ordered. Bridget understands what excellent customer service is! My wife's meal was corrected and the rest of her order was perfect. Norma and Bridget really took care of us. In fairness to the restaurant, my wife never orders bar drinks, appetizers or desserts and didn't do it this time either just because they'd be free. The gestures of the staff were sufficient. And get this.... When we got the bill it was $0. Not zero just for my wife.... Zero for it all. Again in fairness, we actually told our server that we thought only my wife's meal was covered and expected to pay for the other two meals. She double checked with the manager and said... It's just zero. We left a tip of course and will be back again! Thank you for the way you handled things and for putting customer service first. And to those of you whose "wheels may be turning".... DO NOT look for ways to cheat businesses out of profits or unnecessarily give staff a hard time. Be legit and you'll be treated...
