We should have access to a MINUS STARS choice! I would've selected Victoria's Bridal in the negative category. I charged a $200 dress using 2 credit cards. Long story short, the owner alleged one of my cards didn't clear. I checked with my credit card companies & they verified the amounts charged & we're credited to Victoria's Bridal Shop. A week goes by and when I went back to get my dress, not only did they NOT make a few repairs to the beading but she denied me from taking the dress. She expected me to fork over an additional large amt. I stood there & accessed my credit card summaries allowing her to view what she charged to my accounts. She still refused to give me a receipt showing paid in full. I'm not an idiot and never did I expect the owner to run a scam like this! She kept pushing the point that she wanted more money from me, I was so irritated by this point I said I'm going to report this as a Theft to Police & let others know to watch their credit card charges because she's stealing your money. I turned & walked out the shop. She came out the shop w/my dress in hand. I wasn't about to leave w/dress that needed repairs from Jump City, or better put: I wasn't about to pay $200 for a dress that had obvious flaws, missing beads & pleats that needed to be re-stitched! Any way you cut it, after the owner was shown proof that a customer paid $200 & the owner refuses to acknowledge it, instead tells the customer to hand over more money or she can't have the dress. That is a thief, a scam artist. Perhaps, she has pulled this scam on some people who don't watch their charges closely. I will never go back, & will tell anyone to shop elsewhere because the owner is far from a sweet, older immigrant trying to run a good shop....

Great family owned place... Go to David's Bridal if you want to be treated like crap and just another number in a McDonald's-style-efficient assembly line... If you want to be treated like family, go here! The atmosphere and personal relationship truly makes all the difference and these ladies are some of the best! They will actually remember you... Not only that, but the prices on the dresses and alterations are some of the fairest out there for work and gowns as top quality (and better) than a lot of other more expensive pretentious stores I looked at. They have a nice selection of Casablanca gowns and did my alterations for less than half the price another lady was charging me. (Since I received the dress from a friend who had purchased it there a long time ago ((whom they remembered!)), they still did the alterations at a lower price, but I'm sure if I had recently purchased it myself they would have been included.) And they did so much to ensure I was comfortable and happy with my dress and overall look. I will highly recommend this store and the people to any and all of my friends and family getting married or looking for an event dress! You can't go wrong with this mom...

If I could I would give this place a 0 rating because that’s how horrible my experience was. The worst place to get your dress altered. I repeat DO NOT GO HERE because the owner and her worker are the rudest people I’ve ever came in contact with.i have never beeen treated like this before from someone who wants business. She tried to charge me for a bustle when she didn’t even do the job. After I paid she verbally abused me by saying she never would like a customer like myself because I wanted the job done correctly not what she had done! Screw this place she’s not not worth the headache and her prices are not cheaper than everywhere else so it’s not worth it to deal with such...
