I gave this place 3 stars instead of zero because the pedicure was pretty decent.... Not the best ever but definitely not the worst. $60 for it. No drinks offered at all (not water or alcohol). When I was in the bathroom, the scheduling lady started to harass (a term I do not use loosely) my teenage cousin about the appointment. I guess there was a confusion about one person instead of 2 people for the appointment. When I came out she very aggressively (not assertively) demanded why I made the appointment for one instead of two. I explained that there must have been a mix up and that I apologize, but if they cannot accommodate us I do not mind taking my business to one of the hundreds of other nail salons in town.....luckily the other workers were very kind and reasonable and said they could easily accommodate us. Granted, I don't know what else was said afterwards. However, from that point on they were very kind and accommodating. But for the price without any sort of beverage offered and the harassment, I will more than likely not choose to come here again. Not that I'm Boujee, but if you're going to be a shop in cherry creek with those prices.....act...
Read moreGet the service price in writing beforehand! Yesterday, I was quoted $35 for a mani/pedi for my 3-year-old granddaughter at this Cherry Creek salon. The manicurist was very nice and patient with my granddaughter. When I went to pay, suddenly the price was $45. I said you quoted me $35; they said they were sorry but the woman at the desk quoted the wrong amount. Not my problem as I see it. The woman even admitted quoting the wrong amount. I believe they call that a "bait and switch" -- not ethical, probably illegal. I had already given them extra cash so I could give a tip when they returned change for $45 instead of $35 -- they had my extra $10 and were not going to give it back. Had they told me upfront that it was $45, I would have balked and said ok. I ended up stiffing the manicurist (which I feel bad about) but I was so mad I wasn't going to give this salon another dime. I hope the extra $$ was worth all the negative reviews I'm going...
Read moreI thought the service here was good and the staff was extremely friendly and pretty accommodating (though I did wait almost 20 minutes for a walk in). Unfortunately I felt that the service was very over priced. I spent $75 not including tip on a manicure (gel) and regular pedicure. I did not request any extra services and did not realize lotions and foot massages were not part of the regular deal. They split services into express and non express, but these differences and the prices of treatment are not made clear upon arrival. In addition, I thought that upon leaving my cuticles on my fingernails were very imperfect and I think the paint could have used another coat. I would not completely discourage against this establishment, but would caution to make sure prices and treatments are firmly established beforehand, with the warning that this nail spa is...
