I've been going to Chewy's on and off for four years now. It used to be very small and cramped, difficult to navigate through the aisles. They recently expanded, however, so I decided to go back. I've been in a few times in the last couple of months and found the staff to be helpful and friendly. My last visit, however, was bad enough that I won't go back. I went in looking for a specific variety of dog food that my dog has eaten for 4 years. I can typically only find it online, but I thought I'd check to see if Chewy's carries it. They do not. I told the young lady helping me that I'd just get a different variety of the same brand and order our usual variety online. When she told me how much it was while ringing me up, I made a toungue-in-cheek comment that it was a good thing I had to order it online in the future as it is half the price online. The young lady said, "Well, you obviously don't care about supporting small businesses." That's quite a leap to make based on one comment. I actually do go out of my way to support small businesses and will pay up to 25% more for something that I can buy at a local shop as opposed to a big box retailer. I am on a budget, however, and my lack of unlimited funds tends to curb my social responsibility. I also never get a lecture when I'm checking out at Amazon or Target, making them much more appealing. This young lady's comment and attitude are unacceptable and something I choose not to encounter in the future.
Update to Respond to Owner's Response: As I did not give the name of the food I was looking for in my review, and I seriously doubt that anyone at the store would remember the brand after 6 months, your response confuses me. I did, however, check with the manufacturer of the food I give my dog. Not only do they list places where you can buy their food online, but a quick call to the company confirmed that they support buying from these sites. By saying something that is obviously not true, any chance I had of coming to your store again in the future has been completely eliminated, and I have taken my review down from two stars...
Read moreI am writing to express my appreciation for the Excellent Customer Service which I received at Chewy’s Bonetique on September 21, 2022, and during several previous trips at Lowry TownCenter in Denver, CO.
The staff is always warm, accommodating and helpful and I would like to take this this time to recognize Leroy, a Chewy’s Bonetique employee who has been helping me for the past several months. In all my time shopping here, I have never encountered such an outstanding employee who was high spirited, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable.
From my experience, Leroy is an exceptional employee who deserves to be acknowledged for his hard work, compassion, leadership and dedication to his job. He is caring, attentive and goes above and beyond to make sure I am satisfied with my experience. I truly believe Leroy is an asset to Chewy’s Bonetique.
Due to this experience, I will be passing the word along to my family and friends to start shopping at Chewy’s Bonetique. Needless to say, I am pleased to have had the pleasure of discovering that Chewy’s Bonetique has not lost their sight in customer service unlike so many other places. Not just in terms of doing excellent work, but with great people skills, attitudes, kindness and helpfulness.
Again, I would particularly like to thank Leroy. You can be sure I will continue to shop and do business with Chewy’s Bonetique for many years to come and for as long as I live in...
Read moreI had just got a new puppy the day before and found this place to be really close to where I live. Since my puppy really needed a bath called them on the 31st of December knowing that they might be closed or booked for the whole day. To my surprise they were open and were able to squeeze my puppy in for a bath.
When we arrived we were treated right away. Since the lady who was going to be give the bath was still cleaning up the space after the last appointment we didn't have a problem browsing the store.
The puppy we got is an Italian greyhound who desperately needed booties for night time below freezing walks. One of the ladies who worked there was extremely helpful. She got the little stepping chair and started to pull every brand of booties down for us. She didn't mind that we were going to be trying them all on. It was a relief hearing that they carry extra small accessories!
After the bath we got our iggy back in 45 mins she got her nails trimmed and she smelled 100 times better then I could imagine.
We purchased two pairs of booties, hat, treats and the bath. Everything came out to only closing us $70 which is insanely cheep for a boutique store! They also gave us some samples of food to take home.
I would recommend anyone with a small dog to visit...
