We have purchased many things at R&B and have been happy overall with the furniture and service, however our experience this summer takes the cake. We ordered a leather sectional which we were told will take 6 to 8 weeks to arrive. It was ordered on 5/29/18. We received no confirmation or updates. We called a few weeks ago and were told that it would likely arrive earlier than expected and they would call us to let us know it was in. We went to the store last weekend and were told that 2/3 of the pieces were in and the third was on its way. I asked to schedule delivery which is to Breckenridge up in the mountains. They said they go up there twice a week and there was space on the truck on 8/8 and 8/11. We asked to schedule delivery for 8/11. They answered that they can’t schedule delivery until all of the pieces are at the local warehouse. Well, we called yesterday and the pieces were all there however no one had called us to schedule delivery. Then they said that they can’t deliver until 8/20! 8/20! An additional 4 weeks! This is unacceptable. Why they wouldn’t schedule us when they knew that the last piece was on the way. AND they didn’t call us. I am very disappointed in the service this time. We are now going to rent a truck to pick it up ourselves and deliver it. They refunded the delivery fee but if you ask me they should cover our expenses for the truck. Unbelievable!

The service is non-existent. Went in on Wed, Nov 11 for living room sofa and chair, dining room set and kitchen stools. Spent an hour in the store and saw 3 employees. One was helping people on the bottom floor in stools/rugs/accessory area. The other two were clustered on the first floor playing games on their phones. Not a single person acknowledged us, or any customer, in the almost hour we were there. Up on the second floor we looked in vain for help in getting swatches and saw an older couple walking around doing the same. Went downstairs to try to get help and were ignored. Both we and the other couple walked out.
Went again on Wed Dec 9 to try again. There was one other customer in the store and she was being assisted. Once again nobody on the second floor so went down to the first floor to find someone. A second employee sat at her desk texting away despite the fact we were less than three feet from her. I finally pulled out my phone and said, loudly, that since nobody could be bothered to help us we could just order on line. She looked up momentarily and went back to texting. We walked out and I decided to get the similar items at Crate and Barrel.

Purchased a leather couch and upon delivery, one of the cushions had a small cut. Called up R&B, they said "No problem, we will schedule to have the COUCH replaced." So far, great response. Two weeks later, delivery people show up at the door (wife was at home) and say "Here's your replacement CUSHION.". Not a new couch, just the cushion. This wasn't what we were told initially, and the R&B rep even said in the beginning that they don't replace just the cushion due to potential matching issues. We call R&B to ask about the couch vs cushion replacement. Turns out, the delivery crew lied to my wife (new replacement couch was on the truck). The first R&B rep that we spoke to wasn't helpful at all, and the second was apologetic and said that she would check with her manager and follow up with us to see how they could "make it right". She never did. Full transparency, R&B did offer to bring the couch back that we had the new cushion for, but this turned out to be several weeks later and by this time we were fed up.
