The Northern — Local services in Denver

This isn't a review about what it is like to live at The Northern, but rather about my experience as someone who recently did a tour there.

I am relocating to Denver for work in early fall, but I recently came to town to check out potential apartments that I may want to rent closer to my move. Yes I know it's too early to look now. I think I probably saw 25 buildings during my visit, as I found myself interested in many different areas of Denver. Visiting The Northern was unlike any experience I've ever had finding an apartment.

I walked in not knowing if I would get a tour. I immediately was greeted by their events person at the front desk. I believe her name was Tone. She immediately offered me a beverage and made it clear someone would be happy to show me around even though I didn't have an appointment. She instantly gives such a welcoming first impression, which is definitely not the case for a lot of buildings. Right away because of Tone I felt it could be a great place to live.

I was paired up with a leasing person named James. It was by far the best experience I've ever had viewing apartments and I've done A LOT of tours throughout the years. He was very friendly and personable and made the tour fun. It felt like he genuinely had a lot of pride in the building and it was clear in the way he showed me the amenities and apartments. He talked to me like a friend, rather than a sale, and still explained every little thing so clearly and thoroughly. I became more and more excited about living there because of him. At the end, he gave me a folder to take back home and said he would follow up closer to my move, without trying to pressure me into something that wouldn't work for me. James is a cut above the rest by miles, including in all the other cities I've lived in. I can tell you already, I will be renting at The Northern in the fall when I move to Denver, without a doubt.

One last thing. The building was so clean and smelled...

I had the most incredible leasing experience at The Northern, all thanks to Jordan! From the moment I walked into the leasing office, he greeted me with a warm, genuine smile (best dimples ever!) and immediately made me feel like my needs were his top priority. I had some pretty specific (and admittedly difficult) needs in finding my perfect home for myself, but Jordan not only rose to the challenge—he exceeded all of my expectations!!

He took the time to really listen to my wants and needs, and then tailored the tour experience to show me exactly what The Northern had to offer. What really stood out was his incredible attention to detail. Whether it was pointing out how much I would like the amazing floor-to-ceiling windows with the city view in that specific 2 bedroom layout, or even the perfectly sized square shaped ice cubes in the freezer (I know that sounds weird, but IYKYK), Jordan made me feel completely confident that this was the right choice I was making.

What sealed the deal for me was his dedication to finding solutions to even the trickiest of requests- like having a balcony that face the city/mountains, but also the most closet space ever because of all of my shoes. Though the closet space could be more for me, he helped me envision all of the extra shelves that I could put labeled bins on for my scarfs, accessories and athletic wear, and how it would free up so much space for all my shoes. I could tell he genuinely cared about my experience and wanted to make sure that I found the perfect home—and I did! The one bedroom facing Coors Field with the city and Mountain View’s is the BEST floor plan! I’m so excited to move in and couldn’t be happier with my decision. Two words: Premiere Service.

Recently relocated to Denver and I chose this place (after touring over 10 spots on a short trip) due to the amazing service. Candice was amazing to work with and went above and beyond to help me find the right place. Her attention to detail, memory (like my dog’s name),and helping me with the stress of moving was above and beyond!

Tone and Brenda in the office welcomed me as well and remembered me when I did a revisit before flying out.

Outside of the customer service the property is top notch! The attention to detail in the finishes and amenities can be seen everywhere. The drawers are soft close, top line appliances, and added touches like a wine chiller.

The property is located close enough but far enough away. You have easy access to restaurants, Rockies Game, or concert venue in short walk or rides; while still feeling out of the city (local dog park, pickle ball court, and basketball).

If you’re looking for a place in Denver and want the fun, unique, and exciting part of the city while not living deep in downtown; this is the place!
