Union Station in Denver is kind of a weird transit station. It can be incredibly confusing, I answer questions from obviously confused newbie travelers often. If you don't already know where the E and W lines depart from, you may never find them. It takes a bit of searching.
There's an escalator just behind the hotel (which is NOT, apparently, part of Union Station) which goes to an underground tunnel. This is where all the buses are. It's also the most direct route to the W and E light rails.
Also... Nobody has bothered to check that I paid to ride in 4 or 5 months.
There's no restroom, unless the ones in the tunnel were opened back up. And the "public" restroom in the hotel was closed to anyone without a receipt for a purchase of anything within the hotel.
To be clear: I haven't set foot in the hotel or the underground tunnel in several months. Neither is needed for my commute, having switched to a different train line and the restroom was made...
