Vanilla Kink — Local services in Denver

We were referred to Vanilla Kink by a very nice young man named Andreas who works at Rose and Thorns. On August 11th we purchased a number of items including a bra and garter. Upon getting home my wife found that the bra and garter did not fit right. I attempted to return the items with all tags attached on August 17th, however I could not locate my receipt. I was told I could not get a refund without a receipt so I asked for store credit. The clerk fully admitted that it was obvious that I had purchased the items there and the price tags were attached but gave me some nonsense that they could not figure out how to do a store credit without the receipt. Being in the accounting business I was aware that this lame excuse made no sense. They did say that if my wife came down and tried on another item they could do an exchange which, of course, makes no sense given that a store credit (which is the same thing) is impossible. The items they carry are very overpriced but we wanted to patronize the store anyway as it is new and they carry a lot of high quality really cool things. This is a delightful little shop. It is clean, colorful, safe and fun. The staff member I spoke to was very professional and courteous. That part is extremely important given the nature of some of the wares. I really appreciated their ability to answer questions and keep me pointed in the right direction while I was shopping.

The selection of more niche products was greatly appreciated as well. There aren't many options in town for these types of products since The Crypt shut down.

Do make sure to check the listed hours. They aren't open every day but their website does have a bunch of fun stuff available...

Love the vibe and super cool selection. We went on a Wednesday, Jan 15 2025, and the sales associate was just awful. Barely greeted us, ignored us. We tried to make small talk, and received a very cold response. When we checked out, we asked for a bag....hello, private toys...and were asked for a dime, in a very snotty voice. Would not have been a big deal, because it's a dime, but we had just used all our change in the parking meter!! So, we had to walk 2 blocks, carrying toys, in downtown Denver.
