I came here to park to see Sleep Token at Little Caesars Arena. If you have a pass you bought online don’t you dare arrive early. The gates won’t work. The call box volume is very bad and you can’t hear the person talking. The customer service team that answered honestly seemed nice and helpful enough though so I can’t be upset about them.
Getting out was a nightmare too. My pass did not work (again) and I tried to call them. It gave me some error messages. The volume at the call box was somehow worse and was made worse by all the loud ambient sounds. I could not hear the person on the other end at all. Oh, and the thing that scans the pass on your phone is oh so conveniently located next to the RFID sensor for credit cards so if you have Apple Wallet with your credit card on your phone it pulls up your credit cards (sketchy). I’ll have to check and see if they charged my card. Somehow, some way after a couple minutes trying to scan my pass it finally took it and let me out.
SOMA, you really need to have a live attendant stationed at the garage to help people for large events. Maybe more people will want to use the garage and not leave...
Read moreI have used this parking garage two times in the last three weeks for a Tigers and Red Wings game. The parking was a great price and great location with the Qline if needed.
My only gripe is when I used the ParkWhiz app to park a 3rd booking for a Wings game. Even though the price was higher (still decent price), the rate provided was for 1 hour before and 1 hour after game time. If you are just going to a game, that is fine. However the doors to LCA/Comerica Park/Ford Field open 1.5hrs/2hrs before gametime. In addition, a lot of people like to eat before the game. It is a 10min walk from the parking garage to LCA and 15min walk to Comerica Park/Ford Field. The Qline including wait time would be 15-20min at most.
There are a few good restaurants in that area so in my opinion, a rate that starts 2hours before game time and ends 2hours after game time would be better suited. This would allow more time to eat in the area and still get to the game on time. The 2 hours after would also account for extra innings/overtime and the possible wait...
Read moreToday I used ParkWhiz to book parking at this facility. When I went to scan into the parking garage it wasn’t working so the attendant let me in and said I would need to scan out on the way out.
I go to scan out on the way out and it keeps bringing up an error and there is no attendant there. I called the number for assistance that is on the machine and the guy who answers tells me he can’t help me and that I would need to push the help button. Which would be fine except there was no help button. The help button he was referring to was only on the other kiosk.
So my guest got our out of the vehicle and went over to the other kiosk and pushed the help button and explained the situation but they were unable to lift the gate I was in front of. Now normally this might not be a big deal but because it was a Red Wings game there was a line of cars so I couldn’t simply back up and pull over to this other kiosk. I have never had an issue with park whiz before but I will never park at this...
