Top China One — Restaurant in Detroit

First of all I have ordered from them plenty of times and sometimes the food wasn't the best but they were right next door to my apartment so it was convenient.I didn't have a car so I settled for it. When they moved they became terrible both with service and food. I finally got a car so I was able to go to a different Chinese Restaurant around the corner. I just happened to not feel like driving so I ordered from Top China One again since they had delivery. First of all I ordered pepper steak and when they delivered it the pepper steak was spicy (pepper steak is never spicy). I called the restaurant and told them that they messed my food up and I want my ordered corrected. He said they had new cooks so that was the reason. Again I asked him was he going to correct the order he said if I ate some he can't replace it. I had to taste it to know that it was spicy. So then he said I can come pick it up but they can't deliver it. I was told that I would have to pay another fee. So yes I paid 5.00 to have an order that they know they messed up. I paid 5.00 to learn how unprofessional and terrible that business is so they will never get another dime...

My fiancé and I ordered online at a Saturday at 7:50pm. In the confirmation it said it will last 30-60 minutes. We stayed in a motel 5-10 minutes away from China One. After about 20 minutes after we have purchased our order we got a call from China One and they told us that there are no Sweet Potatoe Rolls anymore, so we ordered Avocado Roll instead. At this point we were really impressed by the service. It changed after we have waited 80 minutes for the order. We gave them a call and got the short and kind of unfriendly answer that it will last another 10 minutes. We waited another 20 minutes and still no delivery or call. My fiancé was almost asleep already and we weren´t even hungry anymore so I called to cancel the order. When I told them the employee was just asking if the delivery guy hasn´t called us yet. No he hasn´t. The only one calling because of the delivery was us. So she accepted the cancellation. I can´t tell anything about the quality of the food because it never arrived but the delivery service...

THIS. PLACE. SUCKS. Don't place an order from here if you're on a time crunch!

Placed my order at 1:07pm online so I could get it before my class started at 2pm. Forty minutes passed, and I heard nothing nor did I get a phone call. Fifty minutes pass, and I call twice. Was told by the person on the phone that they would call the delivery driver over and over again. Except my food didn't arrive until freakin' ONE WHOLE HOUR after my class started, even AFTER I told the person on the phone to cancel the order.

I was looking forward to some Chinese food for lunch in between my classes and this was my first time ordering from here but this place seems to be run by people who don't know the meaning of efficiency. So they get 1 star. Would give 0...
