After getting jewelry from this Kayâs for 10 years and not really having any issues until now. I called to schedule a appointment with my fiancĂ© to look at wedding bands the Saturday before Fatherâs Day and was told 11:30 we could come in. I ended up calling right back to change The appointment to Fatherâs Day and was told 11:30 would still work. Both times I called the same lady was very rude on the phone. We get to the mall on Fatherâs Day to find out the mall doesnât even open til 12......then the lady acted like she told me 12 when she certainly did not!!!! Ended up ordering both our wedding bands was told it would take about two weeks to get in. After three weeks of waiting with NO phone call I had to call a couple different occasions to get a hold of someone because no one was answering. I was told there were two rings a his and hers that have been sitting there they didnât know whoâs they belong to because they were an online order....... I ended up going there getting my fiancĂ©âs ring and double checking my band size to get it sent out to get two sizes smaller. My fiancĂ©âs ring even though we were told he needed a 10.5 when he got his ring for some reason it was too big but fit just right at the store with a 10.5. So again we needed to get the ring sized a second time. I got a phone call on a Friday at 4:23 PM that my ring had came back in with the correct size I needed, I told the lady that I would be able to pick it up the next week that Monday or Tuesday she said that was fine they didnât close until seven. Itâs Monday I get to the mall at 5:30 PM thereâs a sign on the door that says they were closed all day sorry for any inconvenience. They knew I was coming I just confirmed Friday and drove 40 minutes for nothing, it has been one thing after another with the new people working at the store.    Read moreI had a horrible experience at the Dover Kay jewelers. I took my engagement ring in for the diamond having an issue, I went back to pick it up Tuesday 11/05/2024 when they gave it to me I immediately noticed that the diamond was crooked and in between each of the small diamonds around the big diamond looked black and we sat there for 20 minutes debating about it, and I didn't want to take it home, but Morgan came over who is a employee there and said to just take it home and see how I feel about it the next day or I can come back when the manager is there which I felt not understood and that they were just pushing me off. Well Today 11/06/2024 I took it to the Rehoboth location immediately gave them my ring and right when I gave it to the Lady in Rehoboth, she immediately saw that the diamond was crooked without me even telling her what was happening and that there was black in between all of the small diamonds when she put it under the microscope she confirmed that the diamond was definitely crooked, and that the prongs in between each of the diamonds were broke, so they took care of me and Rehoboth is sending it back out to get it fixed again. Morgan in Dover was not helpful at all and not sure how she is employed there if she can't see what was wrong with my ring when it was obvious to a naked eye. My husband purchased my wedding and engagement rings here in 2012 and every time I go to get them cleaned or sent away to be dipped, thereâs an issue. They can never find the account, even though I bring the original receipt and documents every time. I usually always spend approx 45 min or more waiting for my account to be pulled up, rings to be inspected or cleaned. This has been happening 2x a year for 8 years. Two weeks ago I sent my rings away to be cleaned and dipped, spending 47 min in the store to get this done after an employee started helping me. Today I called to check to see if my rings were back and the employee went to look and came back to the phone and said they were there. I go to pick up my rings (a 30 min drive btw) and another employee tells me they havenât come back yet. I mean seriously, can anyone at this store get it right. That was an hour of my time wasted because of incorrect information.
