Rainbow Shops — Local services in Dover

This experience had nothing to do with me but I witness it today at the store. I was not going to do a review but it’s been bothering me. Let me first say the cashiers were just standing at the counter doing who knows what. This young lady waited patiently until they were finish doing whatever and a lady behind her went in front of her when the workers decided to tend to their customers. I seen the young lady and her daughter walk to the registered making it known she was first. The woman said something smart and words were exchanged. Now if the workers were paying attention they would see she was first in line. To be honest looks are deceiving and the young lady, I know her father and family which they could buy out the entire mall.The point of saying that is the customer service should be professional and careful of work ethic towards customers. You never know how much power and wealth or better yet who people are that come...

I don't normally shop at this store, but I needed to return something and pick up some last-minute items for my trip. I arrived at the mall before the store's opening time and waited for them to open at 10 am. By 10:15 am, every other store in the mall was open except Rainbow. I noticed a man working inside and decided to call the store to ask about their opening time. He picked up the first call and immediately hung up. When I called back, he stated that he was waiting for a sales associate and would open in 15 minutes. By 11 am, the store was still closed, and I decided to leave. It was me and one other lady waiting outside. This is not a busy mall, and one person should have been enough to open the store.

After coming here a few minutes before closing (not knowing that they were about to close), the woman at the front counter shook her head and screamed “we close in 3 minutes, y’all need to leave.” I have worked retail before and understand the frustration of having people come in right before close.
