King Cajun Crawfish — Restaurant in Dr. Phillips

I rarely give reviews, but this restaurant needs one. I would like to start by the crackers, they are fresh and home made, they taste home made now if you are used to eat potion I can see you saying this test is different. Yes they are fresh no poison garbage taste. Now on the oysters they are fresh clean and good, we had goat cheese crostini and it is amazing, we also got a a Baked oyster sampler and a raw oyster sampler, And I can tell you that the taste is different from person to person so there was oyster that I didn’t like but not because they are bad but because the toppings were not for my favorite, but I ate all of them andtbey were all fresh. The server was perfect even noticing my empty glass of wine and offering me another one, this was at 1:00pm. I liked this place very much, it is very clean and fresh, now I’ll give my take on bad reviews.

The crackers: Well they are definitely home made and fresh and definitely doesn’t taste like the regular bagged garbage out there.

Raw Oysters: very fresh and clean, we had baked, raw, and……. Another 12 raw ones lol.

On the condiments: We loved it, honestly who knows how much horseradish I need in my oyster? Well in this place you can use as much as you like, now to the germophobics out there I don’t care for the not on ice oysters ( we have gone to very upscale restaurants that serves them on salt also) or not in a pack horseradish or hot sauce. Frankly if they could not serve this way because it was unsafe they would be closed.

My original seafood place in St. Cloud seemed like it was closed down so I had Googled a couple of places in St. Cloud and Kissimmee and nothing really sparked my interest until I came across this place. Looked at the reviews and pictures and it seemed pretty decent. I decided to try it out with my family toinght and OMG!

At first I walked in and thought they were just doing takeout due to COVID-19 since no one was in there and Jr was about 730pm. But we got in, sat right down, no wait at all. And when they brought out the food in the pans, I knew it was on like popcorn. The crab legs were bigger than I expected and meaty, the shrimp were jumbo in size and cooked just right, that dang garlic butter with a little sweetness was to die for and the sausage, corn and potatoes were just an added bonus. I took photos and sent them to my friends and family.

The waiter and waitress were very nice and the manager was amazingly pleasant. He greeted me at the door, made my family and I laugh and even spoke to us outside sharing some stories about his restaurant journey and how it's all about getting to know the customer and that's exactly what he did. Such a nice and handsome young guy. I didn't catch his name but I think it was Anis.

So if you havent gone here and tried the food out or even just the atmosphere...give it a try....You won't be disappointed and you'll love the music. I know this sounds like I was probably paid to say good things but I promise you....A JOB...

First of all, I gave it 2 stars for A couple of reasons The food taste amazing. I’m not gonna lie the best part about it that the sausage is beef and it’s pork free. I like other restaurants.

Flaws about this place When we ordered the shrimp, it was supposed to be 1 pound. We only got 12 shrimps. I went to so many restaurants that have Seafood boils we never got that small amount and they called it. 1 pound. Whatever we got that day, it was only half a pound or less I told the server about it, and she didn’t even bother to get the manager and talk to us about it which I didn’t like Second flaw Was the server Just dropped the food and left. I had to go run to the bar and look for her to ask for the claw breakers and the scissors and I had to get up again and ask for every fall so the service was kind of like let’s drop the food and disappear. The third one I ordered a good amount of food and at the end when I had to pay, the server told me that she forgot the coleslaw, but she will take it off the bill Just the way How the service went And how some of the tables from other people were not cleaned at all when we got into the restaurant it didn’t give me good vibes The food is amazing. The quantities are horrible compared to the prices so it’s overly priced for...
