1.26.2022 6:35 PM We frequent Chicken Salad Chick all across the USA! We love the food & atmosphere…most of the time! Tonight was an exception however. My husband had a long Business day & was looking forward to CSC for Dinner as he was traveling from another State. The sign on the front door said you closed at 8 PM (your website says 6 PM but he hadn’t seen that before driving over there). He was at the front door when a young lady “unlocked the front door to let “2 unhappy customers out” & saw my husband & was very rude to him that they were CLOSED & locked the door in his face. He then sat in his car & watched as “2 young female employees” got themselves drinks…….& he drove away. Apparently your door sign & website hours don’t agree?? Also, regardless of the time you close….the CUSTOMER is ALWAYS #1 & the lady that started the Company would just FREAK to know customers were treated this way! Also, if you are CLOSING, be kind to your customers, apologize to them that unfortunately you are NOW CLOSED & I’M SORRY for the inconvenience, but we cannot serve you tonight, here’s a FREE COOKIE or such! Be nice to people, not RUDE as this young lady was to the customers she was escorting out & my husband trying to get something to eat after a long work day!! CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS #1!!!! These young people NEED to learn this!! Maybe more customer training is necessary here? Since we’ve NEVER had a bad experience at a CSC prior to this, we’re still committed customers. Maybe “next time” we travel to this area we’ll have an improved experience! Good luck with...
Read moreThis was a gem that we found on a whim. We happened to be shopping and Yelped for something and this was right there. The place is a classic southern feel that makes you feel that you have stepped into a picnic. The variations of chicken salad are are nice and you will find something that tickles your fancy. We opted for the Fancy Nancy that had grapes, apples and pecans along with one that was like the Fancy Nancy that had pineapples in it. The pineapple was not large chunks but more fine so you are not chewing on a pineapple instead of chicken salad. You can get it on a scoop only order (for the carb folks) or three different breads (white, wheat and croissant), which I picked croissant. You can go À la carte or a meal which comes with a side (soup, salad or others). We chose the chicken and dumpling soup. Friends got something with broccoli and the best was something with grapes and yogurt. You will feel that the food is not enough but after eat the last bite, you will feel surprisingly just right. Oh, you get a small cookie as well. I would do this again as you leave the place full with a nice healthy feeling.
The only downside was that I was charged an extra $2.50 for some reason and didn't know it until we left. The entire meal with the error...
Read moreIf I could choose negative stars, I would. Let me start with, we LOVE chicken salad chick. Just not this one. We were served gnats. The soda was weirdly flat. The carbonation was kind of there but then would be syrupy flat. Kudos on creating flat, carbonated soda. I could of forgiven the soda but fat gnats in our to go box of food?? Once the manager finally came out, he tried to justify it with, we live in Florida. True. But so do other restaurant owners and guess what, not served gnats. Do you know how long it takes for gnats to go from eggs to adult? Do you know what filthy conditions are needed? I looked at him and said no, the gnats are from the stacks of trash in your kitchen which can be seen from the bathroom area. And I am pretty sure the toilet not flushing properly isn't helping. The manager then said they were understaffed. I said that's no excuse to not remove the garbage and or filth of 4-6 days it would take to produce gnats in the kitchen. We should have walked out when the initial smell hit us at the door. But we really wanted some good lemon basil salad. We asked what the smell was and ironically, the manager was who took our order and assured us it was just the smell of chicken and mayo. No, son,...
