Mod Pizza - Vineland Pointe, Orlando, FL

I’ve been wanting to try Mod Pizza for quite some time, so my husband and I decided to make the hour-long drive to the location at Vineland Pointe in Orlando. The parking was convenient, right up front, which made for a great start.

Upon walking in, we loved the concept of choosing our own toppings. My husband was happy with his selection, but I encountered a bit of a hiccup with mine. Initially, I was considering vegan cheese but changed my mind and opted for mild cheese instead. However, due to a slight miscommunication, both cheddar and vegan cheese were added to my pizza. It ended up tasting like a cheese sandwich, which overpowered all the other toppings. While the staff member who helped me was very understanding and offered to remake the pizza, I decided to keep it as is at first. But after taking a few bites, I couldn’t enjoy it, so I requested a new one.

The lady who helped me remake the pizza seemed hesitant at first but was incredibly kind once I explained what happened. She was very informative, explaining that the cheddar cheese is strong and recommended sticking with vegan cheese. The new pizza she made was much better, though I noticed the crust came out quite dark, nearly burnt on one side. I didn’t want to make a fuss, so I sat down to enjoy what I could. She even offered buffalo sauce and oregano, which was a nice touch.

Unfortunately, my husband’s pizza also came out with a very dark crust, and underneath was burnt as well. He described it as tasting like a crisp cheese sandwich, which wasn’t enjoyable for him. Half of my pizza was good, but the burnt portions made it hard to fully appreciate.

What really turned our experience around was TJ. He checked on us to make sure everything was okay, and his kindness and attentiveness made a huge difference. TJ truly elevated my overall experience, and I was grateful for his effort.

The next day, I realized I had left my wallet at the restaurant. I called ahead and spoke to a lady who said she couldn’t find it, but TJ, who had been there the previous day, had kept it safe for me. When I arrived to retrieve it, he made me feel so comfortable and reassured, which really cemented my positive impression of the place.

Overall, while the pizzas didn’t turn out perfectly, TJ’s exceptional customer service and the friendly atmosphere made up for the experience. Thanks to him, my rating went up, and I left feeling valued...

Couple of days ago I visited Mod pizza for the first time. From the moment I walked in I was greeted a young lady who also took my order. Without knowing she asked if this was my first time at Mod's, I replied yes and that's when she began to explain how things worked at their location. She she asked whether I would like to build my own pizza or order something that I see on the wall I replied that I would like to build my own pizza. She explained the type of sauces, cheese and meat that were available for toppings & as we build my pizza she kept a smile & was very professional & right before she checked me out she handed me a cup for my drink, gave me the total of my order charged my card and thanked me with a smile. Her service was spectacular. I then asked her if she was the manager and she stated no that she was the team leader.

Today I walked in for another mini pizza and I was assisted by another young lady named Toni who also provided great customer service. Not only are there pizzas delicious but your staff is wonderful as well. I would like to close my review with these words, MANAGERS SPEAK POSITIVE WORDS TO YOUR EMPLOYEES WHEN THEY ASK YOU A QUESTION DON'T DISCOURAGE THEM AND MAKE THEM FEEL THAT THEY'RE NOT GOOD AND THAT THEY'RE NOT DOING A GOOD JOB. THESE YOUNG PEOPLE WORK HARD. WE ARE LIVING IN VERY DIFFICULT TIMES & WE NEED GOOD PEOPLE LIKE THE ONES AT MOD PIZZA TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICES WHICH HAVE BEEN PROVIDED TO ME AT THIS MOD PIZZA LOCATION IN ORLANDO FLORIDA. IT IS DEFINITELY MY...

Alright I came to Mod pizza on a dark and stormy night. I was uneasy after just finding out that my wife was sleeping with my brother. I ran inside and was greeted with a loud and hearty HELLO!!! It startled me I wasn’t expecting so much enthusiasm on such a night. There was a small line not too bad enough time to look at the menu board. “Any toppings. One price” that puzzled me. I’ve never been somewhere where I can get so much on a pizza with no charge. I was skeptical to say the least. When I finally or to the line I was greeted by this guy with unnaturally purple hair. He had a nice smile and was enthusiastic about telling me all about the pizzas and salads. He reassured me that I can get unlimited toppings on my pizza for only 7.97. I decided to start off with a mod size. (That’s a 11 inch thin crust) it’s fairly straight forward you pick the toppings and make your own pizza. I finished picking toppings and was directed to the cashier. She was really nice she told me that her name was Alli and she asked me what I had ordered. We started talking about what was going on. (She could tell I was upset) I told her that my wife was being unfaithful and I didn’t know what to do. She reassured me that everything will be okay and that pizza will always be there for me. That made me feel entirely better. I got my pizza and sat to eat it’s okay better than blaze. When I was done and ready to leave I went up to my new friend Alli and thanked her for the amazing pizza. I totally recommend this pizza. Great service and...

I stopped by here because Chipotle ran out of cheese (seriously), and I'm really glad I did! As a whole, this place is fantastic. They have pre-made pizzas that you can order off of a menu (with visual representation) located on the wall. OR you can build your own pizza - with unlimited toppings! Any meat, any veggies, as much cheese as your heart desires. The price for a normal sized pizza for 1 person is about $7 - $8 (I think it was 8 w tax), so not too bad and it was delicious. I made a Hawaiian style BBQ chicken pizza. The crust was perfect - thin crust style, not soggy and not too crispy. Now for the rest - staff was friendly and very helpful, especially because I was new and didn't know what I was doing at all. Restaurant was very clean and well kept. Employees were working the entire time and had a great attitude. I would definitely recommend coming out to the I Drive area to come check it out - there's only one location. Right now the shopping plaza isn't too crowded so it's a really good opportunity to go. Okbye

Visited twice in the last two days. Very nice pizza spot. Super clean. Clean bathrooms. Lively decorations. Lively staff. They welcome you as you come in and even say goodbye as you leave. The pizza is really good. They make it right in front of you. A lot of different meats, veggies and condiments. All items look fresh. They are super quick and efficient. They have a great system to get you in and out. No waiting long for the delicious pizza. They have Coca-Cola products fountain drinks, sweet ice tea and lemonade. They also have bottled drinks if you prefer. Plenty of seating area inside and outside. The plaza in which they are located seems pretty safe. It's well lit at night. They are plenty of other shops if you want to do some shopping before or after you eat. Plenty of parking. Will definitely come back to visit when we are in the area again. Highly recommended. Thank you very much for checking in. Have a blessed day.
