Long review but good! Ross is usually great and I do a lot of shopping here.
But I am going to avoid this Ross for a while.
Shop here if you want to be ignored and treated like you are a thief.
This visit was very annoying because of the employees. I was waiting at the counter to buy a pair of sunglasses that were locked up in the display case while I watched a female employee with dreadlocks organizing candy.
Another customer walked up to get in line, which was right by the employee, to make a purchase. The employee addressed her and walked around to the register, which was across the counter from me. So she looked right at me waiting there when she walked by.
She rings the customer up and finishes the transaction, right as several more customers walk up for purchases
I take the open opportunity, before she starts the next transaction, to ask the employee if she can get the sunglasses out for me. She tells me she'll help me in a minute... Then proceeds to start ringing up one of the people that got in line AFTER I had been waiting there.... Seriously!?
So I walk off to shop around.
I find 3 shirts and a pair of shorts I want to try on. I approach the fitting rooms and am stopped by a male employee at the fitting room entrance. I am told to hang the items on a fixture so the employee can count the items.... But not just count them... but PAT them down as well, "to make sure nothing was hidden inside" he says.
Now let me add these details. I am wearing a fitted t-shirt and skinny jean shorts. I do not have any bags, nor the clothing on, to possibly conceal any merchandise under.
So I go try the clothes on. I decide to get one of the shirts which is a tank top. I come back out and he tells me to hang the items back on the fixture, so I hold onto the shirt I want to buy and hang the other three items up.
Then he tells me to hang the shirt I am holding on to, up as well. So I do. Then he proceeds to count them again and... Now wait for it... PAT them down again! Are you kidding me? Pat them down for what!? Too see if I found something in the fitting room and decided to hide it in the clothing I don't want and the one tank top I do want?
Wow..... This is unreal and offensive.
I understand that companies need to limit loss, but this is absolutely ridiculous.
If the clothing count and pat down of said clothing is a new Ross policy, it is utterly pathetic. And a nice way to say WE DON'T WANT YOU...

It all started with the snarky cashier, she asked me to pull the hangers off the clothes, I donât think it should be the customers job I am not being paid to there job. And it just surprised me how she asked me she was really snarky about it but I let it go. Then I was getting ready to pay and realized I didnât have my Ross card I remembered I had it on my Apple Pay however it wouldnât work, so I asked the cashier if she could look it up for me she snapped at me we canât do that!    Read moreGreat prices! I found a lot of great items today. When I asked the staff member if they had a public restroom for my daughter they very rudely answered that it was out of order with a disgusted look. We had to go over to Michaelâs to use theirs and then come back. Upon checking out I was told that the sticker on a pair of socks I was looking to buy looked tampered with. I offered to grab another pair of the same socks at the same price sticker from the shelf. The other cashier who had earlier denied us a restroom was not happy to be at work, had zero customer service skill and didnât smile once in the time I saw her. The cashier also forgot to get one of the security sensors off an item I purchased so upon leaving I set the alarm off and they had to take another few minutes to take the sensor off. I offered them all the bags of merchandise I had including my purse. It was not a pleasant experience in the fact that I felt like I was treated like a shoplifter and not a customer the whole time...
