Great Harvest Bread Company — Restaurant in Draper

My last experience at the great harvest in draper was less than satisfactory. Not to say all great harvests are bad or even this location is terrible, however I would like to share my expiration in hopes to right the wrongs. I was on a break from work and decided to get a sandwich. I prefaced right away that I was VEGAN so I'd need some modifications (no cheese no meat). The woman seemed to understand and said she'd make me a sandwich! GREAT! I paid, and waited. And then I was waiting over 15 minutes and really needed to head back to work. As I waited, what seemed to be a friend or a regular came in and the lady making my sandwich seemed to get side tracked. That wouldn't be a problem if perhaps another employee picked up the responsibility. But the employee who should have done so was too busy peeling carrots THE SLOWEST IVE EVER SEEN ANYONE PEEL CARROTS. I finally went up to the counter and expressed how i needed to go back to work. The carrot peeler seemed to looked confused then when over and just, got my sandwitch!? Like, it had been ready just nor delivered? I was walking out in a rush, opened the sandwich and it wasn't even what i had ordered. It was loaded with cheese. I literally cannot eat cheese because of health reasons. So I walked back in just asking for a refund because I was already late to getting back. I paid with my debit card and tipped. They simply handed me $10 bill. I tried to explain how that wasnt enoighy and that i had also left a tip. Also, I would just like it back on my card. For some reason they couldn't do that?? So sketchy. Very frustrating. We are regular customers here and can't say enough good about their beautiful, delicious home-baked goods. We come in twice a week for their lo-carb bread, which is the BEST lo-carb bread ever. We love their sweet breads, cookies, bars, salads, sandwiches. All GOOD!

We most recently bought a lot of sandwiches for my daughter's farewell luncheon from Great Harvest. Jason and Natalie were amazing to work with and prepared everything for a late Saturday pickup (they're closed Sunday.) They thoughtfully wrapped everything in tissue, labelled all the sandwiches, then saran-wrapped the container boxes to keep everything fresh in my fridge until the next day. They provided tomatoes and other "wet" dressing type condiments on the side so the sandwiches wouldn't get soggy. I was a little worried about how they would all keep overnight, but everything was perfect the next day. The cheese wasn't soggy, the bread wasn't dry, and the lettuce wasn't wilted. We just had people add their own spreads and tomatoes, mustard, mayo, etc. The sandwiches were a hit with young and old alike. They even threw in a few extra goodies for our party, which was such a nice, above and beyond addition. These people know what it's all about. Service with truly the customer in mind. Went in today to buy some loaves of bread to give as gifts, and walked out with everything I needed to make it happen -- did you know you could buy ribbon there (and cheap, too!)? I asked about it after seeing some pre-wrapped gift baskets, and they said that absolutely I could buy some ribbon, and that they have cellophane too if I wanted it. The super nice lady who helped me said they try and make it as easy as possible for the customer, because who wants to go to a craft store on top of getting the bread? She cut 5 lengths of beautiful ribbon for my five loaves of bread and even gave me two more lengths for two more loaves I had bought earlier that day. They even offered to tie the bows themselves. Made sure I had big beautiful loaves, replacing one I had chosen that looked totally fine to me, but apparently wasn't up to their visual standards.
