Paris is a good store for people that want to look at a diverse selection of formal wear. They have many distinct colors, styles, and patterns to choose from. Their prices are affordable compared to other dress shops. They also have surprisingly good customer service for a formal shop at an outlet mall. I enjoy the friendly experience they provide over the over-the-top posh treatment that other stores aesthetically choose. Overall, I enjoy the atmosphere, the prices, and the employees in general.
You usually never have to wait long to be greeted by an employee. Sometimes, especially during prom season, the store gets extremely busy, but the employees never fail to at least greet you from afar. When an employee finally gets to you, they usually profusely apologize for the wait and proceed to ask you a couple of questions regarding what you are specifically looking for. What size are you? What is your preferred color, style, and shape? Do you have a price range and/or budget? These questions help the employees refine the search for your perfect dress. If you have an idea in mind about what you are looking for then the employees will usually try to lead you in a particular direction where they know the type of dresses you are looking for are located. If you have not yet set your mind on what you want, the employees will welcome you to freely browse their selection, and to inform them if you need any assistance.
The store is easy to navigate. The racks of dresses are arranged by price and size, so you have direct access to the ones within your price range. They have a remarkably diverse selection to choose from. Colors, patterns, shapes, and fabrics are abundant here. If you are looking at the dresses on display and become fond of a couple but cannot seem to locate them, do not be afraid to ask the employees for assistance. They can be immensely helpful; They usually take the dresses that you have, with them, so you are not burdened by the weight. Once you have a few dresses that you want to try on, you can start to make your way to the fitting room area. The employees quickly prepare your dresses to facilitate your try-on experience. They will usually hand you one dress at a time so that you will not feel crowded inside the fitting room. Employees are always readily available in case you need help with zipping, tying, or simply putting on the dress. They also provide their honest opinion on the fit and look of the dress which I find helpful. There are stools of different heights to act as shoes or heals of your liking to see how they would look with the dress. They use these to avoid puncturing and general damage to the dress. Once you have picked out your favorite dress, you can start heading over to the front desk. That is where the accessories are located. They have a decent collection of jewelry, shoes, and purses available. After choosing out accessories, the check-out process is made quickly completed by the wonderful employees.
I have personally worked in retail before, so it is no surprise that this business Had a set of rules and regulations. I liked that they have policies which give a business structure and order. There were not that many rules, but the rules that they did have were common sense and easy to follow. There are no food or drinks allowed in the store to prevent damage to the expensive garments. You are not allowed to touch the displays to avoid them falling and injuring someone. Minors are required to bring an adult if they want to try on a garment, so that someone can be deemed responsible in case there is damage to the merchandise. They have an “All Sales are Final” policy for all merchandise. They inform you of this policy before you further proceed with your purchase. These are just some of the most important and enforced rules. Overall, I had a wonderful shopping experience, that was made even more pleasant by the employees helping me. I will tell my friends and family about this wonderful store and recommend that they come here for all their...
Read moreIf I could give this place 0 ZEROOO ZEROOO stars I absolutely would the amount of RACISM and slick remarks as well as discrimination me and my sister experienced while shopping for prom dresses was outrageous first he ( the manager Lee) was making excuses to why we “couldn’t” try on the dress saying they would fall apart if you try them on and saying we couldn’t try them on unless we bought them which doesn’t make sense and I felt like he just wanted us get out the store as well as the woman he was working with told us the first time we went in there we had to be 19 to try on dresses and I told her I would call my dad so I could try the dresses on then when I came back with my dad I walked in to her yelling in our faces about how we couldn’t try on the dresses when my dad was with me. Also they were prying around us following us around the store lurking asking if we were going to buy as if we couldn’t afford what we were looking at. When we did finally get GOOD service from the clerk (the younger lady) everything we asked for he would pull her to the side and try and tell her no as if he didn’t want us to be helped. We are very hurt and disappointed and dissatisfied with this service it was completely unprovoked all we wanted was a dress and we dealt with a lot of things we should not have to deal with all because we are BLACK. Don’t shop here it is not worth your time nobody should have to deal with what we dealt with nor feel how we are feeling, we are 18 years old and have done nothing to deserve that treatment and nobody...
Read moreWent in tonight looking for a prom dress for my daughter. Was just there Sunday shopping for her best friend a dress. I have purchased five dresses from them over the years and had two alterations done with them. However, tonight was the first time I have ever been told I had to pay $50 to try on ball gowns. I agreed. My daughter pulled three dresses she liked and the salesperson told us we had to pay the $50 upfront. I said I would like to make only one transaction so please add it to the cost of the dress. She tells me, they cannot do that, they have to take the money up front. Now, they making me feel like they think I’m not going to pay! So I explained, again that I would pay the $50 as I’m hoping my daughter chooses one of the three dresses to purchase. After having purchased five dresses from you, one as recent at Sunday, surely you know I am going to pay you. She stated no exceptions could be made. After I told her she had an attitude, she jumped to her own defense, nastily stating “I do NOT.” She also rolled her eyes when my daughter and her friend went to the front of the store to avoid conflict, muttering under her breath. So I told her to forget it. She quickly replaced the dresses before we could get out of the store good. So what did we do, went to CINDERELLA GOWNS in Lilburn and spent $1,100. Cinderella took excellent care of my daughter, did not rush her, and made her feel special! Paris just lost a loyal customer over $50 and a...
