Unprofessional groomer Stephanie & Stacy!! No one ever answers the phone for questions or comments but always asking to leave a damn tip!! Let me begin by first saying my dog has been going to this petco since we had her getting cut by Stephanie over a year!! Iām not sure what happened about 2 months ago when I dropped my dog off Stephanie was on lunch the other groomer was there telling me to walk around the store and shop Stephanie will be out shortly. I advised her I was running behind could I sign her in and leave her sheās getting the regular cut. We were about 10 mins early for her appointment. To make a long story short the groomer stacy told Stephanie I was being very mean to her and extremely rude! I never said anything wrong to this lady. However we just waited outside for Stephanie. After my dog was ready Stephanie called to say sheās done I said ok Iāll be there in 7 mins. Stephanie forgot to hang up the phone and was talking to the cashier about me saying she donāt understand how I could bring my dog 30 mins early, how I could be so rude and mean to stacy etc. Once I arrived they asked did I wanna leave a tip I said NO! Stephanie gave me my dog once she did I advised her I was on the phone the entire time and heard everything she said about me which was incorrect! Stephanie is very unprofessional and apparently Stacy is a liar! Wednesday my dog had another appointment with Stephanie she said she couldnāt take my dog because we were late. I had to reschedule another appointment and it was 3 months out! I contacted the supervisor Brooklyn no help!! I contacted cooperate also. I also made a post on all social media platforms about this. This is so wrong if you had a problem with me you should have never scheduled another appointment with my dog. I took my dog all the way to Chicago to a new groomer who did a fabulous job on her. Nice low hair cut, nail cut and filed for $45 verses $90 plus the tip I was paying Stephanie at petco!! Thanks for helping me save! My dog will never be back to this store and Iāll shop at petsmart...

Tried scheduling online and any day you choose said nothing available. Days and even weeks away. So I am positive that was an issue with the system they use. No big deal. So I called to schedule an appointment. First I had to call multiple times before I was able to get someone to answer. When someone did answer it was around 745 on Friday evening, she told me the groomers left already and I would have to call back after 8 the next day and the just hung up. Didn't even wait for me to say anything. So then I called multiple times again the next morning (Saturday). I understand Saturdays are probably really busy for them. When I called to schedule and finally got someone to answer I asked what they had available for either a Sunday or Friday. Sundays and Fridays tend to work best for me. The woman that answered the phone was extremely rude as soon as she answered the phone. I asked if they had anything available for tomorrow, she quickly said "No we do not have anything available for tomorrow and I can't believe you would expect to be able to get an appointment the day before and on a weekend." I did not even tell her what I needed to schedule for before she started. I did not even try to schedule for another day. I just could not believe how rude she was. I am not one to leave a bad review. This experience just blew my mind on how bad the customer service was. DO NOT GO THERE. Maybe try a different location or a different groomer...

Tried to exchange it the next morning, but the female refused to look up the transaction without a receipt, which I have been able to do since the day my career began in 1991. I never even took it out of the baggie they sold it to me in, which has their name on it, just like the plastic shopping bag it was also still in. So of course I wonāt be back, but Iām sure she will still expect equal pay.
Fun fact: my career began in this building. It was an appliance & electronics retailer back then. In those days the front door was on the corner nearest the street, behind the weird triangular column which is still there. I think they just have a picnic table in that alcove now for smoke breaks.
Edit: I also just saw that the snailās shell is falling apart too, 18 hours after purchase. Photo attached. None of the other snails are having this problem, but those came from elsewhere š¤
Also remember if they try to reply to this comment with our policy is this or that, or whatever they try to come up with, just remember the local independent place can do it no problem. Their stuff might be a little more expensive, but at least itās alive and not...
