My husband and I are members of Durango High Noon Rotary Club so we volunteered at Manna Kitchen 2 weeks ago which they support monthly. It was so much fun and a great experience we will continue going every month to help chop, prepare food, while meeting outstanding people who work there full time as well as volunteers who have helped there for years. The new head chef Bobbi is terrific and so friendly and Julie who was the temporary head chef until the end of this month was also so friendly. Read moreIt was a cold winter morning, we arrived around 8am to find the place moderately full of wonderful men and women. Chef seanan and Pam were holding the place down. The food was an assortment of breakfast food, but not as good as usual. Then, to my surprise Chef Seanan brought out breakfast sandwiches. They were a bit cold but the microwave fixed that.
