My mom Just arrived there due to the bed being available, we are working hard trying to bring as her close to home as this is very far , however, she has been okay so far, we do wish there was more bi- lingual speaking Spanish staff members as this will ease the anxiety for my mom. The social worker Victoria is amazing ! and follows up which I appreciate . I definitely needed to update this review my mom has been there for a bit now! This place is filthy !!!! Her bathroom is not for a human being and there is always a man or two that walks into the residence rooms while they’re alone in it ! To ^check ^ the bathrooms ?! Read moreThis place doesn't deserve a #1 however it's the only way to do a review. For starters I was greeted by 3 🪳🪳🪳 as I came into a hallway towards my friends room and I almost vomited on the spot. Every staff member/nurses were behind the nurses station on their personal phones. Wonder what they were doing obviously nothing for patients. This place is absolutely disgusting! I noticed immediately upon entering his room were no clean linens. The 1 sheet they do have are filthy. Apparently nobody switches out linens for these patients. Tables in the little sitting room were filthy like they weren't cleaned since taken out of the box along with the chairs. I wouldn't sit. The patients who can't take care of themselves which is everyone really were dirty, smelly and needed shaves. I can't stress enough how this place is even opened. Someone is getting a payoff! I can go on and I'll leave you with this. I recently sent my buddy a Pillow along with some other snacks and sports magazines. He got all that stuff however the 3 shirts and two pairs of sweatpants he hasn't gotten. They said "we have to put his name on them". I get that and two weeks later he still hasn't gotten them. Apparently someone's kid is wearing them now. If you need to place someone...
Read moreThis is an dementia-only facility; it's four people to a room and no real space to just be. There is one small enclosed patio on the first floor, but for the most part, residents get no fresh air or sunshine. People end up here because they have no where else to go. My mother was sent her after a disruptive period in her disease landed her in a mental health hospital. No local nursing home would accept her, so the hospital forced us to accept a placement in Easton which is nearly two hours away from the closest family member. They told us that we'd be able to move her later. Three years later, and she's still there; we are trying, but it seems nearly impossible to get her moved back to the area. My advice to anyone who finds themselves facing a hospital discharge with a hospital social working claiming that you MUST send your loved one so far away is to tell them "NO!" I feel certain that we did not have to agree to such a move, but we were overwhelmed...
