My husband purchased two rings, as Christmas gifts. I had shared specific styles through the catalog. I have always appreciated the quality of Pandora rings, but did not have any experience with the ones with czâs. One of my rings, lost a stone within a three week period. I went to return/exchange ring, and only had an image of receipt. It took a few minutes to figure out the name the purchase was under, but Sandy, the manager, was very helpful. My discontent, was with salesperson, who coninually referred to me as âlove.â Literally every time he referred to me, he called me âlove,â somewhat dismissive, and agist, from my pov. It is not the first time a young person has referred to me, a âbeyond middle aged personâ as âhonâ or some other term of endearment, but I find it disconcerting. I was returning a damaged product, which I had for a very short period of time. There was no apology, no offer of a âfreeâ cleaning wipe, for my troubles, only a proverbial pat on the hand, an equal exchange, and a see ya later. I still like Pandora, but might not be so quick to return to the one at Menlo Mall. Itâs not that I didnât get an exchange, it is that I felt like they were put out by helping me. Kind of âickyâ feeling, given my husband was so happy to have gotten me such a nice gift. To younger sales personnel, know your audience. Donât be so quick to assess customers as your âhon,â or âlove.â Maybe, just be friendly, genuine, and helpful, as you would appreciate yourself, if you were returning a...
   Read moreWhat I experienced at this store is unreal. I ordered a charm online with picking up at store option. Sadly Pandora at Menlo Park Mall was the one with this item in stock. Sadly because the customer service is unprofessional and simply rude. An employee made a mistake and prepared a wrong charm for me and when I said it was not the one I chose, sales person stubbornly repeated âthatâs the one you orderedâ. I had a visible proof that the charm on my digital receipt is different and I asked her if she could check to find a correct oneâŚshe simply said â no, we donât have itâ. She was not willing to move at all. Bc I didnât want that wrong charm, I was informed that I needed to wait 24 h, so my transaction would appear in the system and then the return would be possible. Do you feel this absurd? They wanted me to take the wrong item and then deal with driving to Pandora store to return it!!! At this point another employee was involved, I asked her if she could help me to resolve this âissue â.After giving this order a second look she noticed the difference and surprise !!! she was able to find the one I wanted in 30 seconds. I was misinformed about an exchanging process, made to cancel my online order to reorder instore all while being talked down to aggressively by the gentlemen named Jeremias V at the Menlo Mall store in NJ and his side kick who was working with him on that day. They weren't accommodating at all and I'm assuming that by the way they act it makes their day to deliver poor customer service. This is not the first time I had a nasty encounter with this man. About a year ago I went inside of the same store to get a bracelet set for my niece for her birthday and he lied to me about some items not being available in order to sell me the higher ticketed item. Iâm all for making money but not by misleading your customers, being passive aggressive, nasty and rude.
