Burlington — Local services in Edmond

They have a designated tornado shelter which is a room to shelter in if there is a tornado, an awesome thing to have within the area. They have quite a bit of affordable makeup and a large selection of clothing. Comparable to a Ross or Marshalls and just a step down from a TJ Maxx, unfortunately Burlington Coat Factory must have had a change in company leadership within the last couple years and so it's best not to expect the high class shopping experience that Burlington use to offer say 8 years ago or more. Which is why I think a lot of people rate these stores so poorly now a days. If you don't have high expectations then this store is great and has a lot of deals that can be found with male and female clothing as well as kids clothing. The bathrooms are horrible, particularly the woman's bathroom which my wife said smelled like someone was smoking weed in, was not clean and had a broken sink. They do have two separate dressing rooms with only one being open at night since it is closer to the register. Lastly this store is open a lot later then any other store to include Walmart which is really nice, especially for night owls...

We went to this Burlington yesterday afternoon. It was the first time we'd visited. A female employee followed us (me and 3 of my adult children) around the whole time like we might be there to shop lift. We just wanted to see what the store had to offer. I went to the he section while the kids went to look at pet supplies. I was smelling fall candles and the employee stuck her head around the corner watching me. A few minutes later I heard her telling my girls they couldn't sit on the office chairs unless they were going to buy them. How would you know if you wanted to buy one if you couldn't sit in it and try it out? This particular employee was very unwelcoming, we didn't purchase anything (even though I had picked out a nice candle) and we will not be going back. This specific location was the absolute best! I was met with a smile and warm welcome by Ms. CariAnne. I believe she was the store manager. She helped me with everything I needed and didn’t allow me to feel overwhelmed as I was there to get my new mother in law something nice to wear as a gift for her birthday. She spoke with me and even helped me pick out the outfit and my mother in law absolutely loved it! She thanked me and said I had taste but little does she know it was Ms. carianne 🤭. 10/10 most definitely...
