I am absolutely appalled by the deceptive sales practices at this T-Mobile store. My friend went in to buy a Google Pixel 10 XL outright, but instead, we were misled into a financing plan with hidden charges, unwanted items, and additional items we didnāt even ask for, including two tablets and accessories. To make matters worse, when we asked about returning the items, we were told there would be a $150 restocking fee.
Hereās a breakdown of the issues we encountered:
Misleading Financing Plan: My friend specifically told the sales associate they wanted to pay for the Google Pixel 10 XL outright, but instead, the associate pushed for financing. The phone was listed at $84.97, but with taxes and hidden charges, the total ended up being $192.62. We were misled into thinking we were paying for the phone upfront, but in reality, it was financed, and the payment breakdown was never clearly explained.
Unwanted Tablets and Accessories: The receipt shows that two tablets were sold to my friend, which we didnāt request or consent to. Additionally, there were charges for SIM card and a Samsung 25W Power Adapter, none of which we intended to buy. These were all added to the total without our explicit approval. We went in for one item, and left with an entire bundle of unwanted products.
Hidden Charges and Unclear Fees: We were also charged for items like the T-Mobile SIM and the power adapter, but these were not explained upfront. The final total, which included the unexpected items, came to over $1,400. The fact that my friend was misled into purchasing items they didnāt want, on top of being charged financing fees, is incredibly frustrating.
$150 Restocking Fee: The biggest issue here is that when we asked about returning the unwanted items, we were told there would be a $150 restocking fee for returning the products. This fee wasnāt disclosed before purchase, and it feels like an attempt to trap customers into keeping the unwanted items. This is a clear attempt to prevent returns and keep customers locked into unnecessary purchases.
Deceptive Sales and Poor Customer Service: When we tried to ask questions or seek clarification, the staff was evasive and unhelpful. The entire transaction felt rushed, and it was clear that the sales associates were more focused on upselling unnecessary items and locking us into a financing plan rather than providing honest, transparent information. It was incredibly frustrating to deal with a team that clearly wasnāt interested in helping us make an informed decision.
This storeās deceptive practices are absolutely unacceptable. They clearly mislead customers into purchasing things they donāt need and then make it difficult to return them with unreasonable restocking fees. The entire experience was a bait-and-switch, and I will never be returning to this store again. I strongly urge potential customers to avoid this location...

I'm not saying she wasn't helpful I'm just saying she should have been more informative in why I had to wait not just let me stand by the counter thinking I was being ignored. When I asked her how long is this going to take she got an attitude and told me I could just leave or make an appointment with a tone of voice like she was annoyed by me asking the question, when she saw I wasn't happy she began to be a little nicer, but by then over 2 hours had past. The only reason I stayed is because I really needed the cell phone, I usually go to this store because is close by but going forward I will be going to a different location where people are friendlier and willing to help, the staff is more concerned goofing around then assisting customers.
