Do NOT rent or buy from here. We tried to rent/buy a suit from here for our wedding and after the initial interaction to set up the rental group, it was a horrible experience. We picked out a tan suit for my (now) husband about 6-8 months before the wedding. About 2 months before the wedding, they contacted us to tell us there's an issue with their supplier and they won't have the tan suit for our wedding. Ok, things happen and that's out of their control, but no solution or replacement was offered. We looked around for other rental options, but long story short our best option ended up being buying a suit for my husband. He went to this location and bought a suit that would be shipped to the store. The suit arrives, he goes to pick it up and the wrong size had been shipped to the store. We're now less than 1.5 weeks from the wedding; they reorder the suit and it was supposed to be shipped to our house. My husband then gets an email that the order was cancelled; no explanation was given and the employee he talked to on the phone also couldn't see why it was cancelled. He calls the store and has ANOTHER order put in with expedited shipping to our house; the suit was supposed to get to us three days before the wedding which is crazy (and obviously super stressful) that we ended up in that position because of their repeated errors. Of course, two day before the wedding the suit still hasn't shown up so my husband had to go to Dillard's and buy a suit. The suit from Men's Wearhouse ended up arriving after the wedding, 5 days after it was supposed to be at our house.
My brother (a groomsman) bought his pants for the wedding from a different Men's Wearhouse location; the tag said the pants were the size that he had tried on in the store, but the pair he got was literally falling off of him they were so big. He had to go out the morning of the wedding and buy a pair of pants from another store.
Clearly, Men's Wearhouse cannot be trusted. Over and over again they failed to provide the correct item, or anything at all, in the timeframe promised. We will never be renting or buying from them again and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you need men's clothing for an important event; it is not worth the stress and time...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to rent a suit and get fitted. Lorena came to help me out at the front and was rude from the getgo. I was talking to her like a human because I've worked on the other end of customer service for over a decade so I know what it's like to get difficult customers and didn't want to give that to her, but she just had so much attitude. I even told her in a nice tone, "I'm not sure if you're having a bad day, you're coming off a little rude. Can I finish up with someone else?" Her only response was a quick and curt, "I wasn't rude." Eli took her place and was great, not a single problem. I went back to pick up my suit a few days before my event and I found myself at the counter with her. She was asking how she could help me and I asked her to give me a moment before I went to look for another associate, not ignoring her mind you. She came a few moments behind me asking what I was looking for. I explained, "I was just looking for someone else to help me since last time we sort of got into it and I wanted to avoid..." when she turned around quickly, raised her hand to sort of say "I've heard enough" and cut me off with a quick "Okay!" Again, I didn't get into it with her, I don't know her story, but I feel she should reconsider working in customer service. The store manager came to help me after. Again, he was just as great as Eli. I'm giving this two stars for the Manager and Eli who were great, otherwise I would stick with the one star. I'm not sure if I showed up when she had two bad days. I hope she treats future customers better, but just keep it in mind in case she gives you the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe drive 50 miles from Las Cruces New Mexico to El Paso Texas to get a new suit. No longer a big fan of putting on a suit, but I heard a rumor that I was going to be receiving some recognition at Steinborn & Associatesā annual awards banquet, and thought that I should dress appropriately, just incase the rumors were correct! The salesperson was knowledgeable, and very helpful. I was approached quickly, found the suit, and was super happy that they were able to do alterations within an hour. I did not want to have to drive back to Las Cruces, and back again to pick up the altered suit! My only issue was that my sense of humor did not seem to ācharmā the salesperson much!𤣠Also, I did want to pick up a couple dress shirts, but the salesperson seemed to not catch that, or needed to move on to other people who were waiting for service to buy a suit! Not a big deal though, and I will be back. In the late 1970ās early 1980ās my first sales job was at a specialty menās clothing store. We built an actual āclienteleā that would return, and only buy from their preferred sales person. Friendly, knowledgeable, and relationship building service was crucial to building a consistent income! I always felt uncomfortable measuring the āinseamā for pant length, š«¢š³but otherwise it was a pretty cool job! I do recommend Menās Wearhouse, but the truth is I want tell you who my salesperson was, because although she knew her suits, the repeat sales relationship building was not present that day. I will be back, but will probably be helped by whom ever...
