I am saddened to say that my much anticipated and most recent visit to Trends in Estes will likely be my last. After many years of shopping in one of the classiest stores in all of Estes for unique and upscale gifts or finds for my home, or others, I was so extremely disappointed last weekend to walk in and find that now this once beautiful “trendy” store is the same as every other souvenir shop in Estes. Printed t-shirts, dish towels, Colorado paraphernalia, RMNP souvenirs, moose statues, moose socks. I can buy it anywhere. I don’t need to come here now. I miss the beautiful items that once graced your shelves, walls, and tables. The dishes, pottery, blankets, pillows, art! All if it unique, beautiful, gift worthy, and many pieces in the homes of my family and friends. I’m so so disappointed. Very cold and unfriendly atmosphere. Products are way to expensive for what they are. I won’t be back. Accidentally bumped into mugs (they didn’t break and it’s a crowded store) and made eye contact with an employee who rolled her eyes. Nice. Definitely would’ve paid for anything I would’ve damaged.
