TLDR: The owner LOST MY DRESS and tried to blame "the matrix" for her bad luck streak.

I would not recommend coming to this tailor. The owner Celeste LOST MY DRESS.

At my first fitting, as Celeste hurried to put pins in my dress, she allowed her dog to step all over my pristine white dress. This made me very uncomfortable.

3 hours prior to my second fitting, Celeste texted me saying she had lost my dress even though her shop is quite small. She said she would check her security camera footage to see if someone stole it, however, at my first appointment, I remember her mentioning that the cameras didn't "actually work". I had no trust in Celeste at this point.

She later called to tell me she found my dress. She said there was a glitch in the matrix that caused her to have a difficult day. She seemed to be blaming spiritual things rather than taking accountability. She initially suspected that one of her recently let go employees had sabotaged it. She began bad mouthing her staff to me and my bridesmaid. We were appalled. For the trouble I had been put through, she offered to finish my dress for half the price, claiming she only needed one day to finish it.

The next morning she emailed me saying she decided to cancel our third fitting as we are "not a good business fit". At this point we were 2 MONTHS away from my wedding day and she had put me in an extremely difficult position. While she eventually refunded me my deposit of $200, she hadn't even touched my dress. I essentially paid her $200 for the dress to sit in her shop. I could have spent this time finding a reputable tailor, instead I was misled.

I was and still am very disappointed with her lack of professionalism, disorganized scheduling, and the blatant lack of trust her actions instilled in me. If you choose this tailor I wish you the...
