So glad I finally went in. I've walked by this place a couple times and thought I've got to check it out. Today was the day. Initially what pulled me in was the photos of the Tofu Stew, but then I saw the Bi Bim Bap for $14.99 and decided that was the way to go. It was an excellent choice. It arrived steaming and sizzling in the hot pot. Typically Korean restaurants will charge extra for it to arrive in the hot pot, but this restaurant has one price -- and it's the best price in town for $14.99. appreciatively the proteins, beef chicken or tofu came as part of the price )instead of as the usual additional extra $2 that is too often the case.) The BBB came with three side dishes a.k.a. banchan that included marinated Julienne Daikon (vinegar based and slightly sweet) Mung Bean Sprouts (slightly blanched & seasoned) and kimchi. The BBB came with the sweet red chile sauce (not that spicy at all) to season to taste. The only thing missing was the sesame oil which was quickly provided upon request. It was truly a delicious dish -- the tastes were blended just right -- with enough leftover to take home for a late night snack. Excited to try the other dishes. There were Mexican Korean dishes too many for me to name but easily was trying because Korean Mexican cuisines are a great pairing. Try to come just before noon, there are less lines that way. But service was quick and friendly. Self serve for water. And comfortable places to sit

I'm dropping one star from the total only because my partner said they didn't cook my food exactly how it was supposed to be. I guess they were supposed to essentially singe the cheese. But I'm not a foodie so to me, it was still good. 😊 I really liked the sauce, it was so good I asked for some extra to take home with my left overs. And they were kind enough to provide it! Very very good. I also really liked my partners wet burrito when I tried it. It was a made with ginger pulled pork. I wasn't expecting the flavors to work well together but I enjoyed it a lot! We tried the bean sprout Kimchi and I'm happy that I did. I'm not very into fermented foods so it was nice to find a version of Kimchi that I could taste without feeling too overwhelmed. I think we will go back. The friend who recommended it said he did not like the Ramen though so I don't believe I will be trying that.

Tried this place out after reading about it in the Register Guard, glad I was finally able to make it out. Kept the order simple, I had the burrito with bulgogi and my oartner had the tacos with bulgolgi and a side of rice and beans. Ordering was simple went up and ordered, got a number and waited. Burrito was flavorful and the salsa, while it sounds weird, added a good break from the bulgogi's sweetness. Tacos had a different flavor which was also nice. My partner liked the tacos and thought the flavor was good. A heads up for anyone, the beans in the rice and beans are black beans so just a forewarning for those that may not like black beans. Price wise, it was what is average for Eugene/Springfield area, but you absolutely get what you pay for especially comparing to other places. Parking is also super easy with the City Hall surface lot right across the street.

I went here with my brother and was excited to try it. We ordered the birria egg rolls and a sticky chicken burrito. We found a table and within 3 minutes we were being served our egg rolls and the server apologized for having it in a to go container as we had stated we we're dining in. I said no worries and that I was astonished it was ready so fast. I opened the container and was surprised to see 3 birria tacos not egg rolls. I glanced over at my brother and his face confirmed that I did indeed order the egg rolls. I closed the container and left the aju at the table as I headed up to the counter and waited a minute to catch the attention of the server and informed him of the mix up. He seemed confused but once he opened the container he then went over to the register, I assume to recheck the order and then apologized. About 2 minutes later he comes back to our table and without a word picks up the aju and rushes over to the counter to hand a pick-up customer the birria tacos and aju. We then got our order of egg rolls all three of which were still very cold in the middle. The sticky chicken burrito on the other hand was delicious. However given the over all experience I do not think I'll...

10.28.24 You should tell niño pequeño to put his cell phone away while he's at work or at least out of sight of customers. Bad look. Food was bland and lacked flavor. Asked for some water niño pequeño points to a corner to get it myself without saying a word. Water tasted like trash and the glasses were filthy. Had to go get my own utensils and napkins as well. Whatever niño pequeño had going on on his cell phone was far more important than providing any level of quality customer service. For a $25 meal? I would never recommend any family or friends. I'm fairly sure you would have a better experience with the food, customer service, and atmosphere at your local soup kitchen. I'm sure the response from the owner will go along the lines as " Sorry to hear about your experience, but thanks for your money sucker. We're implementing stricter policies on our staff yada yada yada hope we'll...
