Humboldt Skate Lab – Skate Shop

PROS: PRO Skate shop with all the bells and whistles, knowledgeable staff, Easy to find, lots of parking across the street. CONS: Closed on Mondays

My family of 5 are frequent customers of this PRO skate shop. We visit this shop at least 3-5 times a month. Humboldt Skate Lab is open regularly from 12-6 most days, except for Mondays.

As a family of 5 we frequent this shop for various reasons each time. Why so much? Because we all skate. I have not yet experienced an issue with needing something and Humboldt Skate Lab not have it. From limited edition skateboard decks, pads, wheels, and the nuts and bolts, they have it. Yes, they have Thrasher, Santa Cruz, and Spitfire to name a few. We always see people at the skate park asking where we got our wheels or grip, and sometimes my son’s crazy socks. We of course send them to Humboldt Skate Lab because that’s where we got ours. When seeing that person again they have a nice fresh set up and are thrilled we told them about the skate shop.

Overall, my experience with Humboldt Skate Lab was and continues to be positive. I am always thrilled to see what they have. I love the assortment of their inventory. Buy a board they will help you put it together so you can get maximum skate time. Humboldt Skate Lab is really helpful and knowledgeable. They can help recommend the best for your budget. If you're shopping for a new skateboard set up or just need a few things I would say go to Humboldt Skate Lab. They have great prices and are comparable to other “big name mall shops” if not better. This skate shop, where do I begin? When you walk through the door at HSL you're not just another customer, you're family. This shop is the definition of a core skateshop, that just want's to see people skating, and included. They have always gave back HUGE to their community whether it's helping out a skateboarder down on financials to get them rolling, or helping at local charitable events.

These guys were so helpful! The owner Brad took the time to really help me figure out what i needed and even stayed late to do so. The next day I went back and had a beautiful skateboard put together that exactly matched what i was looking for. The guy even did some customization to my board to make it look cool. There's tons of differnt options to choose from. These guys love what they do and it shows. Wear your helmets...
