Nice and bright new location for this tasty breakfast lunch and now dinner spot. Clean and well lit in a historic building in Old Town offering great views of surrounding late 1800's architecture through large front windows. A beautiful bar anchors the eastern wall encased by walls with large mirrors and a tin panel ceiling. It can be a bit loud due to the lack of any sound dampening. Our most recent meal occurred during a very busy Saturday morning, every table full and some large parties were seated so i was worried a bit, however in no time we were seated and ordering a flight of mimosas to sample. They have more than ten different mimosas to try so it was a good way to start our experience. After not much time our orders were in with our group trying the offering of eggs Benedict, waffles, huevos rancheros, and a special from the daily special menu of a croissant style Benedict. The food came honestly quicker than I expected with a packed restaurant so kudos to the kitchen staff. The potatoes they serve have a wonderful herbed seasoning and the eggs Benedict offerings were tasty. They may lack proper salamander space as food temperature was not as hot as it could have been. Again this was an extremely busy morning with special events occurring in town the prior night and that day as well. Service was excellent despite this and my concerns were promptly addressed. The waffle was also delicious and was my dessert so to speak. I'm looking forward to trying their dinner offerings next. I think you will enjoy this...

Stepping inside, I was greeted by a delightful Victorian-style decor that set a cozy and welcoming vibe. The place was buzzing with people, adding to the lively atmosphere.
Now, let's talk about the main event – the food. I ordered the country fried steak and my go-to breakfast choice, eggs Benedict. The fried steak was, well, average – nothing to write home about. But the eggs Benedict? Let's just say they were more 'hard-boiled detective' than 'runny yolk artist.' The lack of oozy yolk was a bit of a letdown for an eggs Benny aficionado like myself. However, the gravy was the unsung hero of the meal, saving the day with its flavorful charm.
In summary, Greene Lily offers a comfortable spot to sit down, with friendly service that makes you feel right at home. While the food didn't leave a lasting impression on my taste buds, the overall experience was pleasant. It's a nice place to refuel, even if the meal might not make it into your 'best breakfasts' hall of fame. #EurekaEats...
Read moreI will start by saying my husband was happy with his wavos rancheros. His eggs were perfectly cooked, and the sauce was the right amount of spicy for him.
However, I order the 2eggs and bacon plate, it came with potatoes and a biscuit. I got one slice of French toast as well, so my husband could have the biscuit. I ordered my eggs scrambled and they were undercooked while somehow my bacon was cooked unevenly, being very crunchy on one end and chewy on the other. The potatoes were fine... The seasoning used was a bit bland, and I personally didn't enjoy the flavor. The biscuit was dense, it didn't have the light and flaky texture one expects when eating a biscuit, my guess is the dough was handled too much before baking. Neither of us ate it. Last but not least the French toast, the first piece I got looked done, but when I cut in it was still a raw egg mixture. The waitress was quick to replace it and the second slice was perfectly done. The French toast of really bland tho, it needs some cinnamon or some vanilla, maybe a sprinkling of powder sugar on top would have helped.
I don't think the food matches the service or the ambiance and decor, both of which were fantastic and that's why I'm not going to give...
