I went in on a long shot and was met by kismet. The shop while subtle and unassuming from the outside makes the inside feel that much more magical upon entering the door. The shop is laid out with organization and function in mind. Labeled bins line the walls and outer edges of clothes racks. Very cozy and smells like home. Alas, I digres. So I stopped in looking for a specific costume, a packaged inflatable childs size T-Rex. The woman said they carry theatrical costumes and props, and nothing packaged. She then asked what costume I was looking for specifically. I told them it my son asked for an inflatable dinosaur. They suggested spirit Halloween. Unfortunately that was the first place I looked, but they only had the adult size... Suddenly the door opened and in walked someone picking up their rental. Once that customer left I was asked how tall my kiddo is and double checked the type of costume I was looking for. While walking behind the counter to look for something. They had received a child size inflatable T-Rex the day before. They said Happy Halloween and handed me the costume. Thank you so much, I am going to have one happy T-Rex trick or treating tonight. I was attempting to order for a Halloween party but unfortunately I misread the day of my event and would not receive the costume in time, at no fault to The Costume Box since I was ordering from the US. As heart broken as I was, I would not be able to wear the adorable costume I ordered, Kim helped me cancel my order and send me a refund. She was extremely kind and helpful and even attempted to get the customer to me sooner. I really appreciate all her help and understanding.
