Alexandra's Salon — Local services in Everett

A 15 minute max haircut repair took an hour and a half. It took the owner at least a half hour just to find her clippers and other tools. The other hour was filled with abnormal interactions with a random pedestrian claiming to be a decade old customer as well as following my son and his mom out of the salon while I was still in the chair with the apron on. The current state of the salon was mess; it was dusty, had dying plants, and nothing was organized. The shop looked like it was under maintenance and she did state she was trying to reopen the salon. My intuition told me that she, the owner, was not sober based on various mannerisms and interactions we were having. My entire time there I felt anxious as if my hair would be in a worse state than I arrived in.

Went here for a few years. Was always quite happy, although the cut and color service always took most of my Saturday. Not the way I wanted to spend my day off. But, I continued to go there, until they overprocessed my hair and burnt it! I mean FRIED it. The stylist laughed and played it off. She said you couldn't see it, that it would "grow" out. Co-workers noticed first thing Monday Morning! They asked what happened to my hair. Thanks.

I guess if Alexandra's would have handled it differently, I would still be going there. She did nothing to try to restore my beautiful once silky shiny hair. SHE DID NOT even try to fix it, and I still had to pay FULL price, making matters worse!

Alexandra is an amazingly talented stylist who is willing to spend the time needed to get your haircut exactly how you like it. She's been here in downtown Everett for nearly 15 years now, making her advice on local business invaluable for a recent transplant like me. On top of everything else, she was willing to come in and open her shop up just for me, while all hair salons and most businesses are shuttered due to the unnecessary panicdemic!
