Wont go there any more.They are so slow bc they are too busy chatting with friends. Employees ignore you until they take a break from chatting. That could be in 3-5 mins time while you stand there. They were not making ANY drinks. Just talking to a friend. Wyomissing is much faster. They care about customer service and are there to do their job. They are excellent. Target Starbuck's workers dont care how long you stand there. This is during the mid morning. I was the only customer and still couldnt get them to wait on me. Drink orders interrupts social time. Then the person screwed up my order to boot. I asked for a macchiato. Got foamed milk with espresso. I couldnt drink it, it had no sweetner. It was gross. I left to go to work and didnt drink till I got in my car. Or I would have complained. Seems social life first, customers whenever. Service was slow. She served me and was not professional taking her time to wait on me as she was drinking a coffee drink. Also, overheard her say she has been making a specific drink wrong for customers since she's been there. Forgot to use some kind of syrup in a strawberry drink.
All around this makes me never want to come back here again although it is the closest Starbucks to me. I'm willing to drive further just to avoid this terrible atmosphere to drink a coffee and do work on my laptop . Also coffee was luke warm, not even close to hot. Very slow paced, and I didn’t even get an apology when items were forgotten in my order. Then when I received the item it was aggressively placed on the pickup table as if the associate was annoyed at the fact that SHE was the one who forgot something. I had somewhere to be so I couldn’t speak on it then, but just know that you don’t treat paying customers as if they’re annoying you. If you don’t have customers- you don’t have a job.
