Sunny Daes Ice Cream — Restaurant in Fairfield

The ice cream is decent but the staff are lousy teenagers who either hate their job or were not taught how to deal with human beings. I asked for my ice cream to be in a basic wafer cone. When it was handed to me I noticed it was shorter than the usual wafer cone I'm used to and the scoops were plopped on about to slide off. I then asked if the cones usually come this small..She said there are different sizes. I said oh I wish I knew that when I ordered. What sizes do they come in? At this point she's huffing puffing and rolling her eyes. Walks to the cones and points to them. I asked for the large. She took the cone to a counter and started transferring my original scoops to the new cone. Then added sprinkles. It was a droopy mess! She actually handed it to me in that sloppy state. I asked if it can be redone properly and expressed that I didn't appreciate the attitude. At this point there were 3 girls standing around and one said yeah well people usually ask before about the sizes. I come from Massachusetts and we only have wafer cones in one freaking size. So rude. They should take their attitudes somewhere other than an ice cream shop-where customers come for...

First I must say keep your male staff under control, I am not a big ice cream person but when I do want rum and raisin or just a spot to take my sisters and friends. As a Black beautiful 🇯🇲 queen I felt very unwelcome and this dude who work their kept staring and pointing his fingers at us along with his co-workers /friends and my black friends felt like we were not welcome at all, remind you we did not even step foot in this franchise yet and the atmosphere toward us was screaming #judgemental #Humiliated #Hatred #blacksnotwelcome I was heartbroken and extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome and I been going here...

Just visited this place for the first time and while the ice cream was good, the guys behind the counter were trying to rush like they wanted me out of there. I would understand if the place is busy or they're about to close but when I'm the only one there it doesn't make sense. I walk in and tell the guy give me a minute, not 10 seconds later he turns around and goes are you ready? The other kid with him stand there and stare waiting for me to say something while I'm clearly not ready. I hope you don't get the same service I did and the management...
