Porsche Fairfield — Local services in Fairfield

Had my car serviced at Porsche of Fairfield recently. It was a very easy, no surprises experience. Great communication with James Moreno in the service department by email that made it easy to schedule and painless.

My previous review was five stars and that was posted above. Since I visit this dealership frequently, I decided to update it.

My experience at both the Porsche and Audi folks at Fairfield runs hot and cold. I finally have decided that the place is just very inconsistent in terms of performance. Half the time, everything goes well, and sometimes it is just an unnecessary fiasco.

In general, I have found the current Porsche sales guys, Mauricio, Hector and Jose to be great so I have tried to give the service department some business, in spite of the fact that I have another Porsche dealer much closer to me. Obviously, at this point, with three Porsches and one Audi I need to start looking for some place that works 100% of the time and not 50%.

My last experience with service was another waste of time. I emailed the Service Administrator, Jan, that I wanted a coolant flush and that I could wait for the car to get serviced. He said that it would be about two hours and the price would be $333 plus tax. Waiting was not a problem. Seems reasonable to me so I call and set up an appointment. I bring the car in on the scheduled day expecting for it to be done in about 2-2 1/2 hours. After I get there and am sitting in the waiting area for about 15 mins a service advisor, Kenneth, comes out and tells me this isn't something I can wait for. To do it "right" takes 5-6 hours. Obviously, I'm not happy at this point. He goes on to tell me how they are a "Premier Dealership" and they want to make sure that the customer is happy so they do things "right"...blah, blah blah...well, it should have pretty obvious that I was already unhappy that I just drove 40 mins and then waited another 15 to be told that what I was told earlier was wrong....Oh" and by the way the flush with my own coolant is around $425 plus tax, not the price i was told earlier. So trying to salvage the day since I wasn't going to wait 5-6 hours and I had an 80 minute drive round trip, I asked, "Can I get a loaner?" The answer was " no, maybe in about two weeks".

I think giving these guys two stars is generous....one star would be if they crashed my car or it caught on fire. They wasted my time, they didn't do the work I needed done and the price they told me...

Best Porsche experience I have had thus far. Ever since being a kid, I dreamed of owning a Porsche 911. When I could finally afford my first used one, the experience I had at another Porsche Dealer was very uneventful. The salesman didnt really listen, didnt want to negotiate, and at the end of the day just handed me off to close the sale. When I went looking at other dealerships, no one would acknowledge me on the sales floor. I guess I don't have that look that some hone in on. I can say, I've visited a lot of Porsche dealerships and this one has hands down made an impression I would never forget. I am not even local to the area, but they had the car I wanted and their pricing close to what I could afford. After speaking with their sales team, the ease of negotiations made me come here from VA. They didn't give me a sales pitch on the dealership, priced to sell or try to sell me up on additional services. Just a great overall and easy experience.

I do want to point out that Tony is the man and a great closer. Kind, funny, listens, family oriented and just knows how to treat people with respect. He was willing to work with me to get me the best deal I could get. Something that lacks from other dealerships in the MD/VA area. Hector was also willing to hear me out and address all my concerns. Gave me an honest and fair price upfront, no haggling necessary. Was truthful about the car, looked into details I needed and provided solutions to concerns I had about vehicle transportation, car features, etc. And Albert, the original sales guy, following through from beginning to end. I can't say enough positive things about this place. I am looking forward to getting my 911 here in the future and bringing the wife so she can see how much different the experience is compared to others. I should mention, they have an awesome show room as well. Some really sick classics mixed in with cars out of reach for most of us lol. In the future, I will forever come to this place first for all my Porsche buying needs. I wish I lived closer to get their service, but for now, I will just highly recommend this place to anyone. What an amazing overall experience. The staff at Fairfield Porsche is the gold standard for what a car buying experience should be. I showed up unplanned and unscheduled to look at a cpo Macan listed on the site. Despite being in the middle of being certified and every salesperson attending other customers, Zelby who greeted me at the front desk had the car brought to the show room for me. Then Tony, their finance person took me out for a test drive. And not some keep it under 50 kind of test drive either. He listened to what I was looking for then found the roads to really see what the car could do. Next up Jose. Jose is patient, low pressure and extremely knowledgeable. He took his time going over options, locating cars that meet my requirements and helping me weigh the pros and cons of some of the features. By this point I’m sold in the car, but Mauricio come by, introduced himself and offers to let me take the car for an overnight test drive. How could I say no, I was sold but it I wanted my wife’s opinion. I could tell from the way she smiled as we zipped down the local roads she was as impressed with the car as I was. The purchasing experience was also extremely pleasant. I was convinced Tony couldn’t beat my financial institutions rates, I was mistaken. Not sure how he did it, but he beat my credit unions rate saving me time and hassle. Pick up was a breeze Tony, Mauricio, Jose and one other gentlemen were welcoming, friendly and just great people.
