I went in to switch over to Verizon and my first question was to see if I could get my text messages, photos and contacts switched over. I was told that I could via an app, but, it takes time and to run it overnight, which I did. It did not work. I was also told that it could take 24 hours to 48 hours to port my phone number. It didn't take that long, but, raises a red flag as to why it would as I used to manage corp cell phone accounts and know the process. The only thing that was reiterated was to give the rep a 5 out of 5 rating. If I asked anything, I was told, I already said that or "Like I said...." Things went further south when I went back into the store the next day and I spoke with the rep who sold me the phone and she was very defensive and claims that she told me that it might not work. That did not happen. I came home and I Googled if it was possible, it is, I did it and it took a few minutes as it should. The defensiveness of the rep was what was so offending. It was her way or the highway. I called to try to speak to a manager and was routed to a central call center where they had to call me back. When I shared my experience, they said that they would call me the next day, that was over a week ago and I have heard nothing. I was also told via a chat that I could much more for my trade in then what I received. If you are coming from another carrier, be prepared and know that you can move from one carrier to another and get your contacts, photos and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRun away from this place!!!!! They will screw you out of money !!!! Runnnnn! What I thought was going to be a great experience switching from att to Verizon was the worst mistake of my life ! Going to the staples plaza location in Fairfield was the first mistake. The second was working with Veronica as my sales associate. So They lied About my payment plans, never told me the 14 day return just hard sales on a second phone to buy in a week. They didnāt acknowledge me when walking in standing in line after all of the confusion with my bill. . They were walking around lazy helping no one arguing about breaks. I gave them trust to help me and explained my budget. They lied to get the sale and my bill is 100.00 more then I told them I wanted to pay a month and 300 more my first billing cycle. When asked to help me after waiting, and not being acknowledged for a good amount of time , all they could tell me was to call 611. This is the First time with this company and if I knew about the 14 day return policy I would of shoved the phone back and ran away after knowing the real amount of my bill. Rude inconsiderate and will be going to another Verizon store from now on !! Horrible horrible service and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst service of my life. Went in to get help because my phone black screened out of nowhere. Got told my phone was "Fried" but I could get a new one. I had previously looked at the price of the Samsung Galaxy S8 online and it was on sale for about 200 less than Verizon was offering it for. Told this to the clerk helping me and he told me it might not work with Verizon as a provider. So you mean to tell me, a manufacturer of phones would be unable to provide me the correct phone to ensure I can get coverage under my service provider? Do you understand that they make the phones that your customers use? On top of that he tried to tell me it would cost me less to buy from Verizon, as my line access would increase from $20 to $40 for switching phones purchased at the store, but if I bought the phone from Samsung my line access would remain at $20. Now I am no mathematician, but I can clearly see that the better option is to buy my phone direct from Samsung. I do not appreciate your demeaning tone of voice, treating me as if I do not understand and am incapable of making an informed decision. It was a pathetic attempt...
