Fairfield Pizza Fairfield — Restaurant in Fairfield

I have been ordering from Fairfield Pizza for a long time but after tonight I think I'm done. Ordered 2 pies, some calamari and a chicken alla Pollo, told it would be 45-50 minutes. Ended up calling back 1 hr and 5 minutes later to see what's going on and told should be there in 2-5 minutes but instead waited another 15 minutes. Got the 2 pies and a order of wings which I didn't even order. Called the store back and told them what happened and was told they would make it and have it delivered in another 30 minutes. I asked if they could discount the items or get 2 free 2 liters and was told that couldn't be done asked for a supervisor/manager and was told there wasn't one there. I eventually decided to cancel the order and asked for a refund on the undelivered items. So not only did I not get want I ordered but was unwilling to accommodate after already waiting 1hr and 20 minutes would have to wait another half hr or so for the food for my wife and daughter which was there mistake. Highly unacceptable. I wish I could give this a zero star review for this evening.

Fairfield Pizza has something very rare in Fairfield, a easy to use free parking lot. You just drive in and park your car; no two hour limit, no permit parking to figure out, and it gets better. You simply walk across the parking lot, no crossing a street with speeding SUVs almost running you down. What a concept. Anyways, you enter and walk past the booth seating to the back counter. They have a selection of already made pizzas to order a slice from and an extensive menu of Italian food dishes to also order. They also have daily specials to select from. They have beer and wine available to eat with your meal. So you order, take a seat at a booth and wait for you order to be fulfilled and then eat in the booth seating or pay and leave. You can eat and pay or pay and eat. My only complaint is they don't have Dr.Pepper as a fountain soda option. The pizza is very good and affordable. They also have posters about the history of Fairfield to contemplate while waiting for you food. Is that your great uncle William Hawley? Miserable answering the phone first & foremost! Spent $40.00 plus $5 tip all to get a large extra cheese & a grilled chicken Caesar salad. I didn’t care to spend the $ but if I say extra cheese does not mean put a whole damn 10lbs of mozzarella! Way too much tht the pizza went to the garbage! It would’ve been delicious without all tht cheese. Yes I did ask for extra cheese but cmon now I couldn’t even lift a slice without the whole cheese falling off! The salad on the other hand had chicken, croutons, & lettuce! The dressing came on the side watery as ever! Seemed like they ran out of Caesar dressing & mixed it with Italian dressing! Thought I was going to at least get some cucumbers or a couple olives, but nope the plainest Caesar salad ever.
