I wasn't going to make a comment at first, I was actually trying to find an email to personally send to the store, but I wasn't successful in finding a way to contact through email, so here I am. On Sunday Sept. 21st, we visited the Fairview Heights store and purchased items for a party that was on Friday, Sept 26th. One of the items we purchased was a big jar of whole pickles that wasn'tfor the party, when we got home, and unloaded we placed the pickles on the floor, then later that night, we opened the jar to taste the pickles and the skin was very thick and rubbery. After that 1 bite. I place it in a bag and put it in the frig. I told my husband that they weren't suppose to be rubbery and that they looked weird. A week later I noticed that the seasoning of some sort floated up to the top of the jar, and I questioned it, because I hadn't noticed it before. A couple of days after that, my husband walked passed the jar and noticed the floor was wet from pickle juice and that the juice was filled all the way up to the top, and over flowing while the top was still on. We then opened the top, and saw that there were several pickles with white mold on them, my husband pulled out some of the juice, then proceeded to take out the pickles for a better look. It was mold all over them. We ended up just discarding them, then after some days, I thought about it, and told my husband that we should have took them back. We probably didn't because we live in St. Louis, and that would have been a 35 to 40min drive. But I decided that I would atleast contact them contact the store to let them know that we purchased a large jar of whole pickles, and that they probably need to check their products. It was 1 jar left after we purchased our. I would recommend that anyone that purchase a jar of whole pickles look around them closely...

Maplewood & St Peters have 2 front end people and two back end people on average. This location had 5 and 3 people in leadership just on the front end...making ridiculous mistakes by selling my entire order I placed then drove and hour to get it. The sold stuff I was already invoiced for within 4 hours of the order being placed and the items being picked/selected from the store by an associate.. they marked my order as abandoned 2 hours after they said it was ready and in cold storage. Online tells you it's marked as abandoned after 3 days ... two hours for a business to pick up a supply...
