I had a recent shopping experience at the Fairview Heights, IL location and unfortunately it was not the best. I was shopping with my son for his homecoming dance in the men's dress shirt/tie area amf it was a complete ghost town, there weren't ANY associates to help. We were trying to get him measured for the best possible fit and were left on our own. We wound up buying 2 ties, 1 at Macy's and another at a different store to match his dates dress as best as possible and when I came back to return the tie we didn't use it was just as bad with sales help. I passed 4 registers that were empty and when I was finally directed to customer service that register was empty as well. I finally found an associate (#11459897) at a register and when I mentioned how the experience was less than expected she flat out told me that if I wanted that then I had to go to Dillard's or St. Louis. She had found one she loved and TRIED on previously with friends and I wanted to purchase this dress for her. Today covid was an issue so all the dressing rooms were closed. Sometimes they are open sometimes they aren't. We were told we could purchase it and return it. Who has time for that? I took her and my money to David's Bridal where we found an even better dress and shoes for the cost of the dress at Macys. Covid is very serious and I am all for taking the proper safety precautions but closing the fitting rooms is dumb. At least be consistent with your restrictions Windsor (who also carry beautiful dresses) has theirs open. We saw another lady with an armfull of dress walk out as well.
