We would highly recommend buying furniture from Mueller Store in Fairview Heights, Illinois. My husband & I had a great experience from beginning to end. They have a huge selection of furniture and reasonable prices. We live in St. Louis, but drove to this store several times, trying to narrow down our firm mattress selection.

They have great employees. Our salesperson, Jeff Barnello, who is also the Assistant Store Manager, was awesome to work with. He was extremely helpful, patient with our questions, very knowledgeable about Mueller furniture and he has a wonderful personality. Their delivery guys were very nice and timely. Shortly after they left, we noticed some issues with the mattress and called Mueller’s customer service dept. Their customer service dept. was great, as they scheduled a service guy to come out within 2 days to take pictures and make notes.

The very next day we received a call from Lisa Novak, Customer Svc. Manager, who reviewed the notes & photos. She said it appeared to be a manufacturer defect, and additionally, commented that this manufacturer is very good to work with. Lisa called us back that afternoon and said the manufacturer is going to replace the defective mattress with a new one, so Lisa scheduled our replacement mattress delivery.

We just received our new replacement mattress and it’s what we expected. It’s firm and comfortable to sleep on. We’re extremely happy with the patience & attention we were given. Mueller Furniture has wonderful employees, and their customer service team was on top of everything, following through with courtesy calls to keep us posted. Checked out Mueller Furniture in FVH for bedroom furniture on a whim with no expectations of buying that day. Jim met us on the floor and gave us a little tutorial on their pieces and why they stand out from the crowd. At first glance, we thought there was no way we could afford their prices. But after learning our budget and finding what we liked/don't like, Jim and his team were able to find us a beautiful and quality bedroom set that was close to our budget. Did we spend a little more than we wanted? Yes. But, I'm so happy we took the plunge on this because I have a good feeling that we will never have to buy another bedroom set again. In fact, they called it "forever furniture" and that really stuck with me. You get what you pay for and I'd rather spend a little more for quality then spend less on junk that will need replaced in 10 years. Our experience at the FVH store was phenomenal. So we decided on a whim to see what store had replaced the previous incumbent and thought perhaps they may have a new book shelf i can use for game storage. I walked in with zero expectations and man was i completely floored at the quality of the product and level of service provided by Jim Thompson who met us on the floor. We started trading war stories and injury reports. As the discussion continued he recommended a new type of bed with copper infusion to assist with inflamation. It was more informational and food for thought as opposed to pushing to make a sale. After some personal stories and friendly banter we were left to peruse the rest of the store at our leisure with no sales pressure. After walking the store we decided it actually was time for us to upgrade our bed and we were taken care of better than one could expect. At no point after the fact do i have any sense of buyers remorse and Jim set the new standard of the true customer service experience.
