Rally House Fairview — Local services in Fairview

For over a year I have searched for the Columbia 1/4 zip black "Shotgun" jacket in an Adult Small with his Dad & Granddad's college logo. I've even followed up by checking out Columbia's website...no such luck! I resorted to purchasing a blank-chested jacket in white in an Adult Small hoping to get the permission from the University to have it embroidered. After many months & multiple orderings & re-orderings with all of the accompanying returns to figure out the appropriate size I heard from Columbia that they had finally produced an Adult SMALL in BLACK so I ordered it & returned a white one purchased at the Rally House to the store. Our oldest granddaughter became enamored with the jacket but wanted it in the dark gray...no college icon needed! So once again...ordering a size, returning & reordering again from the manufacturer! Meanwhile I checked in with the store...Rally House on numerous occasions and each time they reassured me that they didn't have one while being so nice about it all. I let a couple of months pass & by this time our "Tax-free" school shopping weekend was upon us when I paid the Rally House another visit. The young lady asked if she could help me as I browsed through the UNT section so I decided to half-heartedly ask if perhaps by any stroke of luck had a Columbia 1/4 zip Shotgun jacket in an Adult Small in black been shipped to their store. My hopes were raised when she seemed to think that they MIGHT just possibly have one in the stock that had just come in!!! She went to the stockroom to check, returned after about 10 minutes with a black jacket in her hands & told me that it was an Adult Small. She then opened it up for me to see it & asked,"Is this it?" My mouth dropped open & at the same moment I actually yelled out, "YES!" I could have grabbed her, hugged her & kissed her all at once while immediately grabbing the jacket!!! Everyone in the store witnessing this just clapped & hooped 'n hollered for me after hearing from the store employees about my persistence in checking for this jacket for so long! If only you can imagine... I have been trying to give my grandson this jacket since before last Christmas when his Dad & Granddad received their's...then for the following March for his 12th birthday...then as an at the end of a successful school year present & all to no avail... until the beginning of this August's Tax-Free Weekend!! We presented it to him wrapped up as a very delayed birthday gift on August 20th, stemming from March, 2022. He and his Dad were jumping & yelling for joy! So this coming football season my 3 guys will be attending games as season ticket holders proudly wearing their black Columbia 1/4 zip Shotgun jackets with the University of North Texas Screaming Eagle. I want to give a Huge shout out to Justin B, Manager at the Fairview location. I walked into the Rally House location in Fairview for the first time and purchase two SMU T-shirts, one short sleeve and one long. The following day I went to Stone Briar mall were I pay rent for a store front I have in the mall and I wanted to exchange my long sleeve which was $21.99 to purchase a short sleeve shirt was $35, however I did not have the receipt with me in the bag along with the long sleeve shirt. steven, the Manager at StoneBriar showed me and demonstrated everything possible not to assisting me in returning the merchandise, after I sharing with him the location, where I purchased, the time of sale and sales rep. He bagged my shirt, “said if you don’t have a receipt even though your going to purchase another shirt I can’t help you” Being the resourceful person that I am, I contacted the Rally House Fairview location, spoke with JUSTIN, B the manager, gave him the SKU number of the shirt and time, he generated the receipt and emailed it to Steve and I was able to purchase the shirt. Invited to a Dallas Stars game so needed the appropriate apparel to show support for the team. Had been looking online but not finding anything that looked decent at an acceptable price. My wife suggested Rally House, after visiting a nearby big box sports place, and it was amazing. When I first walked in I felt a little overwhelmed by the quantity of merchandise they pack into a small store but that quickly changed to delight at finding several items that I liked and could choose from. The wife got a super soft hooded sweat shirt and my choice was a collared pullover that was office appropriate for those occasions I want to wear it outside of the game. All in all, we spent 10 minutes picking what we came for and another 20 just browsing all of the assorted other local and state teams and the many fun clothes and trinkets. It was a great experience.
