Here lies a place that feels less like a business and more like a second home: Aleta Sill’s Bowling World. It’s like walking into a family gathering, but instead of Aunt Karen’s questionable potato salad, you get perfectly drilled bowling balls, professional coaching, and all the warmth and passion of your favorite relatives (minus the awkward small talk about your career). The moment you step in, it’s like everyone’s known you for years — even if you still throw gutter balls like you’ve just discovered what a bowling alley is.
Michelle and Aleta are not just pros in the bowling world; they’re like the Wonder Womans of the lanes, ready to activate your bowling superpowers with their legendary expertise. And don’t be fooled by their professional status — they’re as down-to-earth as your favorite bowling shoes (without the questionable smell). Whether you’re here to get a drill or improve your form, they’ll coach you like you’re about to enter the Bowling Olympics. And when your ball doesn’t fit like a glove, they’ll fix it with the persistence of a grandma knitting you a sweater until it’s just right. They'll drill, tweak, and adjust until that ball feels like a natural extension of your hand. If only all life’s problems could be solved with that much dedication!
Their summer camps? They’re not just for kids trying to avoid mowing the lawn. These camps are next-level, designed to turn bowlers of all ages into lane legends. You could walk in as a bumpers-only bowler and walk out as someone who can throw strikes with the kind of finesse that makes people wonder if you’ve been hiding some secret bowling talent all along. No matter your age or skill level, Michelle and Aleta will make sure you don’t leave the lanes feeling like you’re still learning how to tie your bowling shoes.
And let’s not forget about DENISE. Yes, you absolutely need to say hi to her, because she’s part of the magic here. Denise is like the behind-the-scenes hero who knows everything about everything. She might just have the answers to life, the universe, and the perfect bowling ball fit.
Aleta Sill’s Bowling World is not just about improving your game; it’s about joining a community of people who actually care about how you roll (pun intended). It’s a place that’s irreplaceable in every way — kind of like finding a bowling ball that fits your hand just right. Trust me, once you experience this level of service, you’ll never settle for another bowling alley again. Unless, of course, they serve nachos on a golden platter....
Read moreI had read Michelle’s book Bowling Fundamentals and learned so much from it that I booked a lesson and flew from Dallas to Detroit just for a lesson with her! It exceeded even the very high expectations I had beforehand! Michelle is so knowledgeable yet down to Earth that I can’t believe the insight and more importantly confidence I felt after after only 1 hour! If anyone is looking to raise their game to another level-look no farther than Michelle! I cannot wait for my next session!
I flew to Detroit for my second lesson with Michelle and am amazed how much she has already enhanced my bowling game so quickly. Things I never knew in 27 years of bowling right-handed with a 220 average I have learned in 2 hours! I love she is honest but yet encouraging! Im excited to show all my teammates just how much Michelle has helped me already! I have already book my next lesson in 3 weeks!...
Read moreI used to bowl in High school, and now at 49 years old decided to get back into it, and happily, my wife and son enjoy playing too. I had the same ball since 1985, and bought my first bowling shoes ever about a week before Whitmer illegally shut down bowling alleys when the global bioweapon COVID-19 attack from China reached Michigan. Aleta and her staff was incredible and gave us personal attention. She fitted us perfectly, watched attentively as we tried out the new equipment and made adjustments until everything was spot on. An awesome experience, so happy I came to Aleta Sill’s Bowling World to get restarted on the right track. Might have to come back for some lessons now from one of the beat bowling professionals in the history of the sport....
