SKECHERS Warehouse Outlet — Local services in Federal Way

It is a wholesale/retail outlet for their brand of shoes. Usually I don't get Sketchers brand because they never had a wide width for the shoes I liked...but when I shopped there today, I found a good fitting shoe in my size in wide width, and the price was right for me...yay

I inquired about a slip-on shoe in black but I couldn't find any in my size (plenty available in another color). The sales associate looked to double-check that the shoe was not in the wrong area. She checked all over the store since their inventory said they had one in the store in my size, color and, width. She called other stores in Washington State and couldn't locate that particular shoe. She offered to order the shoe and have it shipped to me at my house. I asked what the shipping costs would be, she told me that if I were to register as a preferred customer, then shipping would be free, plus they were offering 10% off when I signed up...of course I signed up.

My shoe was ordered in my size, color and, width...I got 10% off and shipping was free.

I was very pleased with the customer service and all the work that my sales associate did on my behalf...AND I will continue to...

I had the most unpleasant shopping experience at the Sketches store today. From the moment I entered, the service was subpar, with no staff coming forward to assist. Even after calling for assistance twice, the response was far from courteous. One particular staff member displayed an astonishing level of rudeness. When I was asked to retrieve the boxes for the shoes I intended to buy, I explained that I had multiple pairs and was unsure of the boxes since the shoes were displayed in open boxes. Instead of understanding or offering help, she yelled and summoned other ladies, of whom only one was an employee. While the employee tried to clarify the situation, the other two non-employee ladies began shouting at us and even started recording my family. My 14-year-old son had to intervene and stand up for me. I expect a basic level of respect and professionalism when shopping, and unfortunately, this store failed to provide either. I won't be returning and advise...

went tonight 8:25 to get a pair of shoe for my work and tina help me find the right one but when i went to pay for it there was african american lady who was a cashier and i ask for the offer which they have going on in store to buy one get on 50%off and she said u cant get it since i m having work shoes and my work discount didnt make any sense and she was so rude .dont know how to gave custmoer a service no smile was rude while asking questions and pricing i have never seen this type of service in this store .i ve been this store alot time since this store open but this was so disrespectfull the way she talk and act so unsatisfied but tina was nice while the other lady was cashing me out management needs to...
