i have never in my LIFE experienced customer service so incredibly rude and inappropriate. so there i was, trying to enjoy my saturday evening, May 11 around 1:30pm, at hickory point mall with my two girlfriends. we decided to browse in our local ulta, just trying out testers and seeing what we were going to purchase. everything was fine and dandy until we were faced with an evil employee named chloe. then, our afternoon took a dark turn. the evil chloe stalked and terrorized my two friends and i, which we found especially horrifying as we are all 3 minors. the hellish experience began when chloe asked us if we needed any help with anything. we kindly declined and carried on shopping. we quickly noticed that chloe was following us throughout the entire store. one memory of saturday that has really stuck with me was in the e.l.f isle when i turned around and saw the employee standing directly behind me, her beady eyes staring into my soul. i got goosebumps and i swear the room dropped 40 degrees. in my fright, my two friends and i moved to a new isle. and there she was. standing.. staring…. stalking. at this point me and my girls were extremely uncomfortable and decided we needed to leave. so we stood in line and waited to be checked out as chloe stalked way too close behind. after not even a whole minute of waiting, chloe decided to open a whole new register just to check out my dear friend who was purchasing a lip oil and some body wash. after checking us out with a passive aggressive attitude, she closed the register and refused to help the oncoming customers so that she could follow us 3 out of the door. as i heard her heavy footsteps follow us out the door… i was scared for my life. i have never stolen anything in my entire life, if that’s what this “chloe” was trying to imply. her accusation made me feel a sense of self loathing and hatred for myself that i had never felt before. after our experience at the forsyth ulta, my girlfriends and i couldn’t continue on with our day. we were just too shaken up and decided to go home. i couldn’t sleep that night as i was still horrified by the thought that chloe might still be out to get me. what if she followed us out of the mall too? or what if she took down my license plate? or followed me home? ive barely got any rest since this incident. and i don’t think i can ever return. i fear of having to ever face...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed. I have NEVER had issues at this location before, but my recent experience was unlike anything I've experienced. On May 11th, 2024 I entered the store with two of my friends to browse. We were welcomed, and asked if we needed any help. We said no, and everything seemed completely normal. That was until we met Chloe. Chloe began questioning us, asking if we needed anything. Mind you, we had repeatedly answered no to her inquiries. But again, me and my friends detected no malicious intent. However, as we strolled the aisles, we realized that Chloe was following us. We was taken aback by this behaviour, and none of us could believe it. We thought perhaps we were in her way, so we decided to let her do her employee business. Thats when we realized she was still behind us. That's when it clicked, she thought we were stealing. Me and my girls were MORTIFIED. This unprofessional behavior left us feeling embarrassed and frankly targeted. We immediately felt unwelcome, so we decided to cut our trip short. I was the only of my friends that was purchasing anything, but they stood in line with me. There were two registers open, and we were next in line. And just as we thought we had lost Chloe, we hear a grating voice. She says "I can ring you up here." I could not believe she was serious. She decided to open a WHOLE NEW register just to check me out. There was a customer who needed help finding lipstick, and instead of helping her she sent ANOTHER employee to help. She checks me out, and we think that this situation is finally over. Then, as we are walking out we hear footsteps. Loud, heavy, menacing footsteps. This woman took it upon herself to WALK US OUT of the store. It was humiliating. Whatever she was insinuating is FAR from the truth. We have never, ever stolen i'm our lives. This behavior is rude, unprofessional, and inappropriate. I don't know what world we live in where it is appropriate to STALK three teenaged girls in a store, but it is not one that I wish to live in. I can’t imagine I’ll be back at this location anytime...
Read moreI went on Black Friday weekend. It was very busy. Yes they had several employees on the floor but I was approached several times by different people asking if I needed help. But when I actually needed help getting perfume from the locked cabinet. I had to approach an employee to get help. Who seemed to rush me when I was trying to decide what size bottle to purchase. She never offered me to sample it either. Mind you this perfume cost between 100 to 200 dollars a bottle. After I decided on my size. She took the bottle and told me that she would have it for me when I checked out. But about 10 minutes later when I went to the counter to check out. They couldn't find were she had put it. Come to find out the lady that had helped me out with the perfume originally was the store manager. And she was up at the counter to. Acting just as unconcerned as the rest of her employees. In my opinion, I dont think she ever placed it behind the counter. Because one she thought that I was never going to purchase it . Or two their customer service is terrible. It was only after I said that I would go purchase the perfume at a another store. That the manager offered to go get me another bottle from the locked cabinet. I will not be purchasing anything from Ulta again. I feel like I was discriminated against. And this isn't the first time. But it will be the...
