After visiting several jewelry stores in our quest for a wedding/engagement ring, my husband and I arrived at Garwood’s. We had inherited a diamond solitaire on a thin gold band that dated from the 1920s (we’re guessing . . .). Over time it had been damaged, but we wanted to use it as the start of the final ring. Other shops categorically dismissed the possibility of using the old ring. Garwood’s listened to us. Instead of trying to sell us a new ring (as other shops had done), they told us they could try repairing the old ring, or, if we wanted to give the diamond a rebirth, they could help us select a new, more durable band that had the same vintage look. They offered us a variety of customization options and asked wonderful questions to help us (jewelry novices, at best) figure out what we really wanted. From the very first visit until the day the ring arrived in our hands, we felt heard by the staff at Garwood’s. They seemed to care as much about our vision as we did. They were willing to offer us multiple options, to communicate promptly and clearly, to problem solve with us, to accommodate the fact that we lived five hours away and that we dramatically moved up our timeline, and to ultimately create a stunning ring that had everything we wanted. I purchased an engagement ring for my lady here, and could not recommend Chelsey enough!! She didn't sell me a ring-she helped me figure out what I wanted (since I had no idea), and then found it for me. I mentioned looking into purchasing the ring online, and she was honest and transparent with me regarding the feedback she's received from customers who do so. At no point did I feel even an ounce of pressure to make my purchase through Garwood's specifically. I was probably in the store 3 or 4 times throughout the process, showing her pictures and looking at their inventory. In between each session she would email me pictures, prices, and a breakdown of everything we went over, including other options she thought I would like. I procrastinated and was on a deadline which she helped make, and she stayed covert throughout the process. I had no idea what to expect when getting into a sale like this, but I can truly say I have no regrets or doubts about coming here. Similar to finding a good mechanic, what I value most in this situation is honesty. I now have a sense of relief knowing that I can come here and get taken care of without second guessing if I got taken for a ride!...

I have been going to Garwoods for 28 years after a recommendation from a friend at work.. I have had a new setting created for my wedding ring, bought a new 3 stone diamond ring after my 3rd child, bought a jewelry box, pearl necklace and 2 pairs of earrings. I find them to be a professional and knowledgeable hometown jeweler . I would never trade them for a Zales or Jared or a high priced Denver jeweler . You can get your rings cleaned and inspected for free and a watch battery replaced on the spot. If there is something special in a setting you are looking for they will help you find it or they will search it out. I can't say how lucky we are to have this...
