Beya is such a beautiful human and impeccable barista, it’s bittersweet she will no longer be greeting the patrons at Starry Night! After five months of making this place the illuminating and incredible espresso cafe that it is, this coffee shop is having to part ways with such an unbelievably wonderful employee- one who is responsible for what made this shop so special! May she succeed in all things, and I’m excited to see how this cafe grows and flourishes moving forward still. Their menu items are extensive and delicious; especially the oat peanut butter treat paired with the seasonal spring honey-lavender matcha latte! The effort put into their recipes is stunning and the atmosphere within the store is breathtaking between the interior design to the hustle and bustle at each quaint seating area inside. Love the little gifts they have available for purchase and the overall appeal that the store has due to its appearance, pricing, and quality products. Will absolutely be visiting again soon!
Visited this quaint little cafe again and must say the ambience merely gets better and better, plus the latte art is superb not to mention the quality conversations that occur while drinks are being...
Read moreAllow me to share my first experience. After the fellow said, "What's up," I asked about if they have something like a caramel macchiato, his response is "I'm sure we can put some syrup in there."
I ordered the Mulberry bowl and he clearly had no idea what that was having to come to my side to also view the menu from our customer view of it.
The lady behind him, who was very grumpy seeming, showed him what it was.
The wait was so long a group of us as strangers began saying how we'd hate to see what a busy day looks like.
So the rude lady, the blonde one, hands me a luke warm coffee. Telling me it's be a minute for my fruit smoothie bowl.
So as i gram my fruit bowl, i asked the OTHER lady, " can you please put this in your microwave, it's not hot?"
As her demeanor changes to seemingly annoyed, she demands, "You need to grab your top."
I asked, "What?"
She said "..your top..... Please!"
So I grabbed it. By then beyond annoyed myself. I leave and right there smack dab on top? I long hair strung through my smoothie. If i could upload the photos I took I would. Trust me, but unfortunately you can't load photos on a review.
Woah.... And that's how business is done here! I'm still kind of like...
Read moreCute, simple, delicious. Their staff was very friendly and accommodating to a friend of mine who is not a coffee drinker. They had a lot of questions and their staff was so helpful with their answers.
Quality espresso that gave me some energy, but the star of the show was that Peanut Butter Bar! Soft oats covered in peanut buttery goodness and chocolate that tasted almost like fudge. SO FREAKING GOOD. I hate when an oat bar is tough to eat or scrapes up the roof of your mouth. This was everything and when great with my coffee. It was basically dessert. so if you're not a sweets person, steer clear. More for me!
Legit sad, I don't live closer to this spot. It was a great stop before heading to check out all the cool shops in Old Town For Collins. Iced coffee in hand, headed for the thrift store? A perfect start to the day. Thank you,...
